To be fair, Labour were very efficient at winning seats last election, so they may well know what they are doing here. That doesn't make it any more palatable to many of their actual voters who feel increasingly swindled, though.
Personally, I'd have trouble voting for them again under Starmer.

I hear he's been going to car boot sales and challenging sellers on stolen tools in his constituency as well. Much as he offends me as a person, I do think it's quite a clever and innovative bit of political attention seeking.

I'm waiting for somebody to ask him why he gets so stroppy whenever he's asked a critical question.

Been running for around 15 years now and used to get it all the time, but these days it's more like I'm an addict in the sense that if I don't run, I'll feel crappy.

Four years off an election and overseeing pretty much the worst polling her party's ever had, it feels unlikely that this will need to be made a note of for future reference.

I have a little stock video business which is down about 30% from this time last year, but god forbid a business model based on stealing people's creativity and hard work should be allowed to fail🙄

Will he be telling big American retailers to eat these tariffs, too? Talks probably going nowhere because the EU recognise that he's full of shit and he can't survive it in the long-term. Temper tantrums and dick swinging only get you so far.

Sadly inevitable, but I noticed that many less sensationalist (but still previously Brexit backing) sections of the media seem to be fairly accepting of the changes and even mildly mocking the manufactured hysteria. A subtle change, but more and more people seem to be getting tired of the nonsense.

We had a similar situation in the UK under the Conservatives. In the beginning, they were all at it, and we're pretty cocky about it, too. But as time marched on, fewer and fewer of them seemed to have the stomach to continue disgracing themselves. Eventually, they simply drowned in their own bs.

I liked the part where Trump highlighted that they'd made crazy profits last year,so this year is payback. Great message to the markets and investors, Donnie👌

I was pretty happy that Rwanda & the Bibby Stockholm were axed so quickly after Labour took over, but there's obviously been a change of plan since then. I don't think voters respect politicians who can change their minds so drastically about key issues so easily, but it seems to be his speciality.

Presumably because the world's largest trading bloc holds more cards than a tired little island that still thinks past glories and sovereignty are somehow more important than present day reality.
