How to identify #misinformation, #disinformation, and #malinformation www.cyber.gc.ca/en/guidance/...

This sweet thing at the sofa next to our table really wanted some burrito today.

Hey folks, even if you don’t think you want free books, a click on the link helps me out. And, you know, free books! books.bookfunnel.com/crimethrille...

Let’s hope there’s more like them.

Aw, bless! Love this action.

Yes, I did.

Oh rats. I didn’t count on having to work for it…

At the gym, and everyone’s chattering and grumpy And English. Neil Diamond comes on the radio, at the chorus I yell “Everybody!” And soon we’re all singing “Sweet Caroline, bah bah bah!”. He is the great uniter.

My husband records random Hallmark movies. Last night we watched Mystery Island. I immediately identified the lead as being in Agents of SHIELD. But it took me longer to realize the love interest was Ben from Buffy Season 5. We need a Six Degrees game for this stuff.

And where can I get some?

If you’re wondering what to do today…

Sure, the world is burning. But I’m editing the second Vivien Brandt mystery and can’t remember if Sara’s bedroom pillows are turquoise or teal. The life of a writer.

Only one of these quotes is real. But still funny. www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/17-...

I've read most of the analyses of the DOGE 2025 "receipts" site. This, from NPR, is the best I've read so far. Some of what they claim to have cut haven't been cut, other "cuts" will incur costs down the road. NPR says DOGE has made $2B of cuts, not $55B. www.npr.org/2025/02/19/n...

Fine advice.

I love this idea! Lin-Manuel Miranda, you’re our only hope!

“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!”

Truth.

Gargoyles are real.

Okay, that was good for a giggle.

I thought about injecting this gene into my cat to find out what she thinks of me. But I already know. apnews.com/article/spee...

Ah, sweet memories of family holidays…

And I think about it a lot.

Now THAT's common sense.

Free crime and thriller books! Check them out and if you like one, sign up for the author’s newsletter (you can always unsubscribe if it doesn’t suit) and then simply download. And yes, mine’s in here too. :) Come on, it doesn’t hurt to take a look.. books.bookfunnel.com/crimethrille...

Or rewatching Buffy.

Genius.

I beg you, support your local bookstore, if you are still lucky enough to have one.

Because authoritarians love the uneducated.

Sing it, mister.

Good. They’ve been ruining places for ages.

The irony of the richest man in the world almost single-handedly destroying an agency designed to help the world’s poor, so that the U.S. federal budget has more room for another giant tax cut for the richest man in the world and his pals, should not be lost on anyone. [Cartoon by Mike Luckovich]

Amen.

Another step towards my qualification as UK American Diner Aficianado. This one in Retford.

Just watched a bad film called Roses are Red, Blood is Too. We should have known better. Best dialogue: “He’s dead!” “Who did it?” “How do I know?”

Now I know she’s doing it on purpose. Go Susie!

Important, folks. Pay attention.

One of the things I love about England is finding really old stuff in your basement. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Whether you agree with the rename or not, “cartographic buffoonery” is a magnificent piece of writing. ;)
