Alright rumours I made up. Real hard to be positive!

He’s the one with some proven delivery. The Roo Squad? Too soon to tell. But few players in, not ready for PL, and late, is my stressed opinion tonight

Madders was suspended for the Carabao. I’d expect to see him. Unless you’re right on “managing his fitness”. I think rest is due to Porro, Solanke, Kulusevski. At least!

Heat pump opportunity! Drive the economy by spending more, and then buying jumpers and fleeces for the family. (Personally went Valiant gas and it works).

Dying. In the back of a Greyhound bus. Best I don’t waste a moment…

I’ve made my New Year’s resolution to be a masochist, specifically to take advantage of our January schedule & injury crisis. Win:win. It’s all gravy. Bring on another 6:3

Well that was fun. Never heard of them and Spotify didn’t oblige. Tucked away on YouTube

Oh god not calf’s head AGAIN. Downstairs it is…

I’m setting an alarm for Pertwee and Baker. I’m thinking 4am? Too optimistic? Ok 5.

Well I’m having a great time. And people around me are smiling and excited. Alright: not when Fraser “did that thing”. But generally. It’ll come, with some squad depth. And it isn’t Mourinho or Conte.

Looks lovely. Although you do seem to be dining in a darkroom. Hope the negatives come out well. (One for the teenagers).

I think the Twitter response is: photos or it didn’t happen. In this case, absolutely no pics! I refuse to believe it is real.

So many examples, but you can keep this right up to date. Ndombele needs no explanation, with his one move and zero effort (whoops: I explained). And Vicario: the club went cheap instead of getting the keeper we needed in Sa. And then he played…love him!

What these “zones” you speak of? Having just arrived home in Essex…..

Well round my way, the kids with Choppers also had catapults and a missing sense of humour. Not sure I want to mess with those guys.

Did we have the same parents?

This is arguably a hate-post. I was never allowed one. The lack of an orange Chopper has done incalculable harm.

Thanks, that’s great. All we now is her to cover She Said. On second thoughts….

Is this the Golden Age where companies could, basically, “lie”?

I periodically still curse Jellyfish for stopping after two albums.

Had my first visit last year: Shrewsbury, then Long Mynd & Church Stretton below. Just over the road from your pics. Beautiful area. Would return. Some good food around, too.

Exactly. I can’t remember where I was, but do remember the physical reaction; a horrible, depressive lurch inside like the biggest rollercoaster. Hopefully the current management insulation layer will continue with player and coach recruitment more wisely.

Well we sure are showing signs of improvement over time. A Soprano as DM could be inspired.

You could lean into it and become the new Mary Whitehouse? But young. (Note: it did make her a National laughing stock so some downside.) I can’t get films & tv from superhero comic books. I’ve adopted silence as my defence.

Sure. But he’s OUR idiot.

To echo the point above: it’s deserved. I do have a problem with inconsistency - both with the FA and more notably other European federations.

Well I agree with that, and have not taken up the follow option. “Blocking”? No so concerned by the existence of her account that I’d bother. I can cope with the odd stray message, unless it becomes Twitter here.

But Micheal, they’re standing in order.

Fair point , though I’d not taken you for northern.

Did that in real life. Trooped my family to the cinema. Booked for the next day. They’ve pretty much forgotten now, but it took a few years of mockery.

I don’t think we can afford a long acclimatisation; he needs to hit the ground running. Might be safest to pass on this chap from the farmers league. Big step up for him. Too risky. Hope Ange lets him down softly.

I foolishly clicked on a tee shirt ad. So every tee company in the world. Plus my old regular: the silver polish I bought for my Dad 10 years ago. I’M NEVER BUYING YOU AGAIN! DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!

As this is a private conversation, probably, I’ll even add that Royal had a very good game today.

And finally summoned the courage to read the last ever Iain M Banks Culture novel. Excellent of course. But…the last one.

Bit of a sci-fi year; harkening back to teens. The Three Body Problem is a glorious Chinese translation covering culture, how they see us, as well as a gripping, unexpected storyline. Discovered it’s been made into a 30 part series that my family are being subjected to. Happily!
