and dont even realize what they're doing.
Maybe people are insulted or traumatized when they have to remember history, but remembering history actively and being able to compare the present to history is something that brings me comfort and stability

Like im sorry but I'm never going to fully shut up about these things unless it's literally forced out of me because when you don't pay attention to what youre saying and thinking n seeing like a hawk, fascist supporting ideology can penetrate anyone's mind. So many queer ppl act deeply fashy online

Like i talk way too much and its annoying to people bc they don't want to think about certain stuff I'm forced to think about against my will 24/7 whether or not they think im right or a good person for how my experiences and observations shape my view on the world

and towards people who simply disagree with them about dumb fandom shit. So many dni lists are just "bigots, nazis, queer people and csa victims i don't see as human. Keep me in my echo chamber where I see and exclude you the same as your oppressors" and people don't understand how stupid they look

Theyre not just lists of people you won't interact with, they're also lists of people who fundamentally disagree with you on certain things in ways that dont even fucking matter. People took dnis for actual bigotry and used them as an excuse to perpetuate bigotry towards marginalized groups

Regardless of how you look at it "Men are evil" and "women are evil" are rhetorics that get used on any type of trans person because our relationship with gender doesn't conform with cishet standards and we're perceived as whatever is convenient to bigots in a certain context to shut us down.

Do people not understand that men can also be women and women can also be men when they say these things? Someone being both sides really puts huge cognitive dissonance in ppls heads. I do the cishet man hate like everyone else but there's a certain point where it is a weapon toward marginalized ppl

I get the feeling that a lot of violent rhetoric aimed at marginalized men is there because it doesnt work on the actual men in power who are not gender marginalized. It's misdirected anger and frustration.

While the fear of men is understandable and is backed by a long history of historical trauma, in reality I've been horribly abused and assaulted by so many women AND men and getting compared to predators of any gender because of many factors of my identity including the man part really pisses me off

Just because cishet white men are at the top of society doesnt mean misandry or the hatred of masculinity isn't real!. It just means they're not the actual victims of misandrist rhetoric because they have the power to shrug it off and be easily accepted by their communities.

Even though womanhood is objectified and looked down on, there's a certain social desirability for cis womanhood that outclasses trans manhood and womanhood which are viewed as lesser because they're "tainted" by other genders. This is especially bad in the lesbian community.

When queer ppl tell me that testosterone makes you violent its both because they hate marginalized men and trans women n also because they don't want afab people to stop being feminine. But again, cishet white dudes can shrug this and accept it. Ppl like me can't ignore violent rhetoric + exclusion

I think people are so lost in the advanced discourse sauce that they just totally forget about this when they say misandry doesnt exist though.
Maybe bigots hate me because of misogyny. But they also hate me because I became a man and didnt stay a cis woman. Its related even if u say it's not.

I definitely think misandry doesn't exist in the way incels and dudebro MRAs act like it does. However, it does exist for marginalized men. You can easily say men are loved by society but that isn't always true if you're marginalized in a certain way.Marginalization interacts with gender stereotypes

It's kinda crazy that I'm a man or a woman depending on which gender the other person hates the most and not depending on my actual gender which is fuck you at this point. Nobody's allowed to know my full gender except my friends because people can't be responsible with it

Its kinda like ppl who reclaim the word transsexual. I get a heavy transmed vibe because of many transsexual transmeds but I don't genuinely think everyone doing that is transmed, just likely older trans folk. Assuming the worst of other queer ppl is what they want us to do!!!!
comment in response to

Like do i really want to blame trans people for reclaiming harmful discourse in a way that separates their truths from cishet lies, even if the way in which they do it can come across as very flawed? To advance discussions people have to be vulnerable and talk.

I dont WANT to see the worst in queer ppl or focus on attacking them even if I think they're wrong or toxic because while living my life and touching grass ive learned anyone can be a stupid bigoted jerk and there are bigger stupid bigoted jerks with more power than us

It drives me bonkers that I'm able to see the nuances in these things because of my broad experiences with gender and sexuality and other people who are more binary in identity or thought aren't able to see that and start automatically pigeonholing ppl who contradict discourse
