I remember being sad that I had grown too big to use one of these. 🥹

I love this photo so much.

Yes. A friend once described it as realising that they meant more to her life than she meant to theirs.

Instantly recognisable, hey!

Condolences.

I don't know, but I can tell you I have never had much trouble finding people I will get along well with ... that has to mean far more NDs around than a tiny percentage, since I do not enjoy the NT social style.

So - working as intended, then. Ugh.

Straws. Clutching. 🙄

I stand corrected.

Your point is excellent - indeed, 'on point' - however, please: 'all across the US.' Or, 'all across the country.' The American habit of saying 'the world' when they mean 'the country' has always been annoying to those of us outside the US.

And so it begins ... 😊

Ooh golly! Good to know. 😬

Shame. 😢

Wow

You'd think people would want to do that. It always astonishes me that so many are so cavalier with other people's lives.

Mind you, autism *is* genetic, so ...
comment in response to post
You are! 🥰

It's definitely an ADHD thing. However, it's my belief that autism and ADHD are all one big spectrum; that's why there are so many crossovers.

Everything he says is actually an admission. It's what he would do/has done/is doing.

He's a keeper! 🥰

I slip both stitches knitwise, pop the left needle back in, and then knit them together. (Not a Continental knitter.) Somehow it's faster and looks better.

😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😭

At one point as a kid I was told I could take out up to 10 books at a time from the library for two weeks. I took out, and read, 10 books a week. Happy days. 😊

Yes, only this one actually happened!

Incredible. And all so perfectly in tune with the emotion of the superlative performances. Every person on screen was so utterly real and brilliant.

Technically extraordinary! I was agog with it - particularly the seamless transition to a drone shot and then down again in episode 2 - just wow!

Hmm. I wouldn't say Australia has 'full' democracy ... I can think of many improvements that could be made. Mind you, proportional representation (ranking your choice of the candidates) is a far better system - we just need people to understand it so it's actually used correctly.

It's my belief that both of what we call autism and ADHD are simply one big spectrum.

It is a country ... it's the citizens of the USA. Attacks in other countries are by other countries' citizens. Because, Elon, we all see what you are doing, you d*psh*t!

You up here?!
comment in response to post
If you have that many traits, it's highly likely you are 'one of us' 😁
comment in response to post
It sure is! I learned yesterday that even my love of sour foods is an ADHD trait. 🤯
comment in response to post
Yeah. My entire 'personality' is basically a collection of common ADHD traits. Every. Single. Thing. 🙄
comment in response to post
Eugenicists the lot of them.
comment in response to post
I'm so sorry you had to go through that, and sorry that kind of thing is so ubiquitous for all of us.

I think it's super important to report: you were literally on the edge of a meltdown. That's hardly ideal!
comment in response to post
Maybe if you had, you would have 'seemed' more autistic. So frustrating! You need carers you can feel safe with. I agree that it should be reported to the agency. They need to experience consequences for being so foolish/careless.
comment in response to post
That would be me.
