Reading about the Rupert Murdoch family trust mess. My favorite anecdote is when Rupert’s lawyer cross-examined his son James, trying to get him to admit that his plans to make Fox News more honest would hurt its value because it’s business model was to just tell viewers what they wanted to hear. 👀

Finland gave every homeless person a house and within 6 months 85% had a job and were financially independent. Less crime, less hospital visits, less suffering and even including the cost of the house, LESS COST than the UK/USA method of abandoning them on the streets.

This is grossly irresponsible reporting by the AP. What’s being offered is not a buyout. The deal is if you agree to resign in September you can continue working remotely until then. There is no buyout or severance.

We now know UnitedHealth—under Brian Thompson—illegally overcharged cancer patients for meds by more than 1000%. What we don't know is how many cancer patients died or were financially ruined as a result? What we demand to know is why that act isn't deemed corporate murder & where are the arrests?

Missourians just overturned the abortion ban with a constitutional amendment. The amendment said that doctors would decide fetal viability. But why work on funding schools or roads or hospitals or state workers or teachers when you can overturn the will of the people?
