This is a Bluesky bug that occasionally appears. They’ll get around to fixing it sooner or later.

Yep… This shot is clearly aimed at Canada.

Good to hear that you’re doing better now. That must have been a dreadful ordeal.

One of the many problems with the regime is that these chucklefucks aren’t embarrassed by anything they do.

Got it! They were at the Ventura County Government Center, which makes sense. That’s about six miles from we were at in downtown Ventura. We drove by the Santa Clarita protest to lend a little support on the way to Ventura.

Wow! I was in Ventura this afternoon hanging out at Fluid State. Where was the protest? Saw Neil last week in DTLA at the Fight Oligarchy rally.

When I voted for the Leopards Eating Faces Party, I didn’t think the leopards would eat MY face!

Yes! I was just thinking about that earlier today.

To be honest, I am happily surprised he’s still alive. Good job Senator! I hope you can bring him back with you.

"I really thought things would change after this administration, when we have Mr. Trump in office, things would change to the better," Atallah said. "Things actually changed to the worse." Apparently, he didn’t think the leopards would eat HIS face when he condoned the Leopards Eating Faces Party.

I don’t see the user either. As mentioned in another post, there is a similarly named account that has ā€œboyā€ instead ā€œbolt.ā€ That account is still active.

I’m pretty sure California can, and we can do it while being a blue state. Sorry! šŸ™‚

I thought I saw a helicopter with a ā€œ5ā€ on it quickly fly over. KTLA’s perhaps? They were spending quite a lot of time talking about the rally in the morning (along with all the other events happening in the greater Los Angeles area).

And it was teacher night too. We wouldn’t have known that if it wasn’t for Waze taking us past Dodger stadium while on route to the Fight the Oligarchy rally earlier in the day. Fortunately, the rally wasn’t disappointing.

The women joining him on the stage were Maggie Rogers and Joan Baez.

He’s just to the left of where we standing on the City Hall steps.

Is it just me, or is that the same stance dudes have when pissing into a urinal?

Here was my view from the steps of city hall:

I was there today and it was awesome. Bernie said 36,000, so that’s probably more accurate.

I think the experience is significantly different in SF or Berkeley than suburbs like Santa Clarita. I tend to write this place off as one of the most apathetic cities in the state, so I was quite gleeful of the turnout. People were polite and happy. It had a festival-like atmosphere.

Even the guy driving the the Tesla delivery truck was supportive. šŸ˜‚ SCV has a ridiculous number of Teslas and most of those drivers were also showing support as they drove by.
comment in response to post
You would have been fine at the SCV march. Lots of folks in wheelchairs. I would have felt safe bringing my 88 year old mother. I’d say the average age of the protesters were in their early 60’s. We were so polite, we all patiently waited for the🚦WALK sign when marching to city hall. šŸ˜‡
comment in response to post
The support is appreciated and very uplifting. #CA27 is an ever-so-slightly lean blue district as a whole, but we have a lot of MAGA in the Santa Clarita.
comment in response to post
Nowhere near as big, but impressive for Santa Clarita. Remarkable support from passers-by in cars. I wouldn’t be surprised if there a couple thousand people. We were joking earlier that we’d be lucky to see 18 protesters. Congressman George Whitesides spoke shortly after this photo was taken.

Yeah! Great at hemorrhaging wealth.

This the second time today that I have heard this idea floated. Given Trump’s distain for free market capitalism, I get the reasoning. Nevertheless, degrowth theory (as explained by Wikipedia) seems largely woke, and certainly way over Trump’s ability to comprehend. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Degrowth

Woah! That is truly fucked-up and disgusting.

None close to where I live, but yes. There’s still a Steak ā€˜n Shake in Victorville, which isn’t too surprising if you’re familiar with the area.

I’ve visited Salt Lake City three times, and on each visit I was amazed at how many Pride flags I saw flying in the neighborhoods. Way more than you see in Los Angeles, I think. Is this a response to your state government’s policies?

Steak ā€˜n Shake doesn’t seem to be doing well in California.

It really is! Broke boner bozo really lost his shirt on this race. Hey Elon… Guess what? America hates you! Your days of buying elections are over.
