80 years ago this month, on 13/14 February 1945, the infamous Dresden raid took place. This thread will not explore the ethical & legal implications of this raid, but the controversy over Dresden also raises questions about operational reasons for the attack.

Also, as far as I understand it, had the highest exercise kill ratio against US pilots for a long time. On account of working out you could LEROY JENKINS head-on charge an F15, then use the Harrier's VTOL to 'handbrake turn' and stick a rocket up the F15's arse while it was only starting to turn.
