You have a collect call from "Momimreadycomepickmeup," do you accept the charges?

That's because you rock (even if you don't know it.)

On the positive side, having a noggin’ full of grossness makes my voice all deep, and that is a never-ending source of amusement... until I laugh and start coughing like an ancient swamp hag whose house you *never* visit on Halloween. 2/2

I want to make a mirror universe joke, but, you know... it's a lot more fun when it's fiction.

I pet a cat today! (Not much, but it's nice.)

Same! 'Cept, I haven't gotten to the "money" or "attention" parts yet. I did make enough a few years ago to buy a couple of McChickens from McDonald's once, and let me tell ya, that felt nice.

Hooray! Also, can.... can we go with you? 😭 (I'm kidding, but also can we?)

Once again, I would offer a place to stay, but a.) This is Tennessee, so definitely not an upgrade and b.) We only have a one-room apartment. Being poor sucks all the butt.

Not spoiling anything, but if you can see it on a big screen, please do. It is my favorite movie of last year.

I got to see it in a theater, and honestly, I've never been so speechless at the closing credits in my life. It was emotionally cathartic in the best way.

Ugh, yes! I can't tell you how stupid I feel in literally every single thing I do. (It doesn't help being at the bottom of the professional food chain, either.)

I, for one, do *not* welcome our fascist insect overlords.

The Defiant's road-trip music made me nearly spit out my drink.

Heck, we've had more new Trek series than the Berman era (shorter seasons/series notwithstanding).

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't trying to find a way to move there. I'd rather deal with the cold than this nightmarish hellscape. Also, I can't afford to even go to a doctor here, so that's a plus.

Same here! I didn’t think OMW would be my jam, but having just finished Book 4, I can admit I was wrong.

I don't know what it says about me that reading this made me start tearing up, but I needed this. Also, is Ireland adopting? It’s getting scary here.

Well earned, indeed!

I'm still in my "the kitchen table doubles as my desk and cat appreciation ledge" phase of my creative career, so this is a worthy goal. That is gorgeous!

Just discovered these, and my day has been made.

Sounds like the ice cream truck is gonna tackle some serious issues.

Love the alt-text on this. 😂

No, but there's some comfort in knowing how many of us feel similarly. There is still good in the world. A lot of it. And I refuse to let whatever flickering, meager light I have left stop shining. But, honestly, it feels like trying to speak over a thunderstorm sometimes.

Thanks! I was surprised, to say the least.

That breaks my heart to hear. I am so sorry.
