More like if the yeast infection had a prostate tumour that could talk and was named Nole.

I have no sympathy for an expansionist dictatorship.

And I don't like Carney at ALL. Guess this explains it better.

No-options Ontario election as usual. People donā€™t vote because they donā€™t feel thereā€™s a difference between the PCs and (fake) liberals. And they donā€™t believe the NDP can win so they just stay home on their lazy ass rather than just giving them a shot.

Well it's 100% produced, but not 100% Canadian OWNED. Did my digging on it before actually. Lactantia is also owned by the "Canadian" subsidiary of Lactalis.

So I guess they're treating epilepsy with exorcisms again down there?

Haven't really looked enough at this specific label. Hard to say if it's accurate or not because it could be produced here yet still not be Canadian (as in, not Canadian owned, just produced here by a foreign firm) *plans next grocery trip because I'm actually very curious on this one now*

I will always #StandWithUkraine. Why? Russia illegally invaded them and deliberately targets civilians with disgusting acts of brutality. Russia also threatens our Arctic territory/sovereignty, making them a mutual enemy. One we should've taken much more seriously back in 2014.

Speaking of misinformation, MISINFORMATION could be added to that list. And there's tonnes of evidence for everything I said. Including their change from communism to fascism under Xi.

And an American or Chinese one at that.

Concentration camps for Muslims. Huawei (a CCP spy agency masquerading as a tech giant) violating sanctions on Iran and getting an executive arrested. CCP jails Canadian citizens to try a prisoner swap. Election interference. Spy balloons/espionage. Helping Putin vs Ukraine. Dare I continue?

Switching from America to China is like switching from Adolf Hitler to Kim Jong Un. Going from one evil global power to another is pointless for us. We should focus primarily on economic diversification, and trading with European countries/Australia/New Zealand.

We need to make it easier to identify companies that are Canadian owned (without any foreign parent company getting the REAL money). Maybe have some sort of origin sticker for products to make it easier for consumers when we want to boycott America/China?
comment in response to post
What we SHOULD be able to look for (and NEED) is a sticker indicating where the parent company is located. I don't care if it was entirely made here when the profits go to a foreign (90% of the time American) parent company or firm.

very good time for our consumer protection agencies to force companies to clarify all the various layers of conglomerates which own and distribute the products on our shelves

Should just relabel it to ā€œanywhere except Canadaā€. Because I get importing some things is necessary, but not broccoli year round anyway.
comment in response to post
Absolutely. But at some point we need Canadian ownership of "Made in Canada" again. Keeping Canadian profits within Canada to be reinvested is essential if we ever want to thrive again, be less economically vulnerable to global events, and crack down on corporate power that's expanding globally.

Well I guess we'll know how to tell when Trump finally gets his imperial wish. It's when Elon gets purged, ahem, I mean "overdoses".

And a pandemic also doesn't help when it comes to housing. Demand for housing skyrockets, and then you combine that with rates that are already too low, then you lower them even more. I believe that's when the freaking out finally started about affordability so they finally crept back up...a bit.
comment in response to post
Interest rates first set a record low at 0.25% in 2009. That's when we started outpacing the rest of the world. High money supply via low rates combined with deregulation tend to cause affordability issues and increases in debt. www.theglobeandmail.com/business/art...

Trudeau came in in 2015. I'll let you look for where/when the line started going up. betterdwelling.com/canadas-real...

And PS: Harper did it first šŸ˜˜
comment in response to post
And yet we're also underpopulated. The problem in Trudeau's plan was a lack of regulation to avoid overcrowding already overcrowded areas. But the low interest rates started the process of expensive housing LONG before immigration peaked or Trudeau even became a "thing".

Sad part is that in an ideal world it would be convenient enough that it wouldnā€™t just be people with disabilities using it. Having a car gets cheaper than not having one.

Iā€™ve had medical issues for years and have also had exactly this thing with vitamins happen too. I can affirmatively say many doctors are dicks.

We absolutely need better accessibility tools. And transit. And really just more Canadian owned stuff.

Epilepsy. Ya I can drive again now that it's better controlled but have to pay for a vehicle first. In the meantime, Amazon it is.....šŸ¤® But I still never shopped at Walmart. Not since 2018. And at least there are Canadian business owners selling on Amazon???? (tries to justify)

The one thing I missed about Twitter was challenging these nutbars and basically making them question their very existence in the end šŸ˜ˆ

Itā€™s like we go from one extreme evil to another. There IS an option between far-right fascism/oligarchy and far-left communism that tends to become more fascist in the long run (China). People gotta look up democratic forms of socialism. Libertarian socialism for one example.

Because theyā€™re obsessed with finding like-minded individuals for when Trump gets shot again.

Sheā€™s targeted for being the best one to stand up to them when they pull shit like this.
