As a kiwi, final weeks of the year and first week of the next are sacred “stop and revive” time whatever other meanings they might have! Slowness is definitely an integral quality for this work, & some faith that it will one day prove useful to others so needs to be done with care (&documentation)…

Hahaha. Depends entirely what kind of paper it is, and (honestly) whether there’s a deadline. Also depends on whether you count the time it’s just an idea rumbling round in the back of my mind but I’m not actually actively working on it …

I always thought knitting should be a compulsory course from second year. “Colouring in” is how I feel about crewel embroidery. Thicker wool threads means it goes pretty quickly and absolute perfection isn’t the aim…
