I can't believe this was only 4 years before our beloved 1993 team.

... so does every joe shmoe fan in philly and beyond.

It's fine if you're never going to agree-that's your (and everyone's) right. But as strongly as you feel is how strongly others feel about their side. There's conviction & lived experience wrapped up in both POVs. Until we get to a point of respecting that, we're just wasting time on social media.

I'm 165 lbs thank you very much.

Again I get your point but there is value in labeling a specific kind of hate as more serious. You’re also trying to protect others from being similar victims.

While I get your point, I also think it’s reasonable to think that in this climate, with the rhetoric being thrown around pretty recklessly, one of the first thoughts when a trans person is killed so viciously, is that it was probably seeded in a specific hate. I just think we can acknowledge it.

Yes thanks, as a 17 year old then, I remember that season viscerally heh.

Loved it. Also partway through maybe episode 3 of 5, I realized "Oh it's call Cobra Kai and not Miyagi-Do for a reason!" haha.
comment in response to post
Ha, literally the exact same for me.

Wasn't he just one year early? He was ultimately right about those players.
comment in response to post
Ha! Actually I bet Hurts is already working out.

Truly is Tobias 2.0

Fair enough!

Yeah but what would our rank be if we averaged our highest passing output (or maybe our second highest, if that's an outlier)? (genuine question) I think this just indicates our offense had a different balance than other teams.
comment in response to post
Who gets the $40m savings? The team or the owners? Does it translate to being able to take on a better player? (Genuine question)

First positive vibes news since McCain's injury.

Stafford is just a little older, and prob closer to retirement, but ppl were saying the Rams team this year was a contender (annoyingly, as an Eagles fan).
comment in response to post
Maybe. But AD also couldn't win until he got to LA with LeBron (or at least that's an arguable point), and he had a good team in NO. Stafford when he was in Detroit was always talked of as the best QB in the NFL without a good enough GM/situation. Idk, it's more similar than we might think.
comment in response to post
Stafford has a ring too and ppl rave about his skills. I don't know that the comp is perfect, but it's not THAT far off.

right so the sixers are kind of in the worse position, is my point.

Just kept switching onto Maxey and scoring (not Maxey's fault). Even tried to double Murray on the pick and move Oubre onto Jokic, but no luck. This is one place where Embiid makes such a difference that we just take for granted.

Sixers?

In terms of just having the right perspective on life and basketball, Maxey is one of fucking one.

It was totally tongue in cheek in response to a question he didn’t think was a good one, wasn’t it? His facial expression seems to indicate that at least.
comment in response to post
i hope the yabu thing isn't holding him out for a trade.

This cannot be anything serious please god

I actually think this is low key as important as nakobe dean.

The article is funny - the last line of the first section (after you hear about her AI boyfriend) is something like "her phone rings, it's her husband calling" haha.
comment in response to post
She’s married as well

Honestly there's no way this team has any real impact in the playoffs. All these teams are just way more cohesive than we are. Even with this injuries (and there have been a ton), I kinda blame coach for this. Just play more RCIV at this point.
comment in response to post
*shrug* I should clarify I'm mostly just joking around here, but there's no chance any eagles fan would root for an NFC east team! But you're probably nicer than most Philly folks, ha
comment in response to post
Then you’re not a packers fan

Depends on his knees and his asking price. I love him on this team though.

Zero. I just think if saquon got hurt, the city would fall into a deep depression. And the giants will play hard defense on him for sure.

West Wing is still a super relevant show.

Nat King Cole - the Christmas song is number one seed overall

delusional, if this is truly the case.
comment in response to post
I would trade PG if possible if only bc I feel kinda bad he signed with this team.
comment in response to post
yeah i think this was a steal for the cubs

I think the only thing that matters here is whether Cam Smith pans out. How often does a prospect with his start (>1.000 ops in A ball) make it?
comment in response to post
hahahaha

not a shot that was the whole offer
comment in response to post
uh huh.
comment in response to post
cooper dejean didn't play any snaps?
comment in response to post
I'm going to tell myself three things: (1) still worried about hammy returning, (2) is relearning how to play without embiid, (3) is learning how to play with paul george - both in terms of deference and style

Oh crap, Granite Run Mall, haha. Loved that place, but also Concord Mall for the tax free purchases at Best.
