I love The Wire, but had to stop during the last season. The downfall of a beloved character was so tragic and sad that I had to stop so I didn't get hurt too much.
It takes a great story that makes you fall in love with characters that when they start to fall into a hole you can't help them with,

I once spent hours looking at a computer screen trying to write an essay only to have maybe a sentence beyond writing my name and possibly the title of the essay when I turned it in. I had the concept, the idea for the starting line, but my brain was in a loop of saying, "put this here, no, there."

This is what I've always wanted AI to be. I've never wanted it to spit out slop that has no style on multiple iterations, but to take what's in my head and help me put it on the paper. It doesn't help that my ability to learn mental tricks about writing or art is decapitated by my horrid memory.
