There must be a word in German for this. Every other possible scenario and emotion is covered, they can't have missed this one.

Foxit reader works pretty well. Cross platform too.

Yes, but we need to balance the slipshod production against the giant price hike and constant adverts that TNT have bestowed upon us π¬

The app actually seems to be helpful and useful. Now I've said that, it will be filled with adverts and malware but so far so good π

You must live in the land of oz with these incredible mega footpaths. Car drivers kill or seriously injure 10,000 times more people than cyclists in the UK. I look forward to your extensive comments on how dreadful car drivers are.

Which 'scientific reasoning and accomplishments' are you referring to? He's good at sales, he's good at taking credit for the work of his engineers. He doesn't have any actual ability in these areas. He's demonstrated that through the nonsense he comes out with.

Frequency is less of an issue when you put 240v into it and it's expecting 100v π¬

I once swapped a spare left side crank to an older bike used for audaxing. Rode it for six months then realised I'd put on the wrong one and had two different crank lengths π¬ didn't notice a thing.

Had exactly the same thought, if you spend any time on 'vaguely nerdy' YouTube you will know who that is.

If you ever find yourself in Bordeaux, there's a permanent space used for these kind of exhibits that was a WW2 submarine base. Bassins des Lumières. It's a massive venue and well worth a visit.

Poor take. Y2K work was entirely necessary and saved huge amounts of disruption.

Interesting article. Given the majority of LLMs are based on a similar architecture and model improvement is based on refinement, expanding datasets and increased parameter sizes, where is the leap to AGI coming from? There's no real semantic understanding in this transformer based architecture.

All the Earthsea books are just outstanding, they had a big impact on me. Bright Candles, about a boy joining the Danish resistance also stands out. The Weirdstone of Brisingamen by Alan Garner! I had to Google the spelling but I've not forgotten what a fantastic story it is.

Totally agree. Crafsman steady crafting on YouTube will teach more than you ever wish for. He's family friendly too and the production quality of his videos is exceptional. Robert also excellent but more of a technical tutorial style imo.
