A doctor took my cancerous tum but I still cook and eat yummy noms. Here you will find: cooking pics and vids; hot takes on movies, books, TV shows, and games; occasional outrage re: backwards/regressive politics. No tolerance for the intolerant.

Actually, this one would work. Just swap out the shrimp for either a couple of roughly chopped shiitake mushrooms or a couple of chopped chicken breasts. 😋

Thanks! It is a weird hobby. Both super relaxing and weirdly stressful!

Just looked up nalbinding. Fascinating! Older than knitting, and looks a lot harder, too! But I think I might borrow the small water container idea.😀

It’s gross and weird and magical. You just suck the ends of the yarn, make them overlap by an inch or so on your palm, and then rub your hands back and forth like you’re trying to get warm. Then bam! Two strings become one! blog.tincanknits.com/2021/12/09/t...

Naw. I'll wait until at least a couple of games launch that I want to play. Not sure how long that'll be.

100%. I’m kinda happy we only have one. That’s super loud. And a bit creepy.

But it's essential for Tolkien nerds. So much satisfying background. So many easter eggs used in the films.
The audiobook, read by Andy Serkis, makes it more digestible.
And props to TRoP's (unfairly criticized) showrunners for trying to make sense of it all! 2/2

I do buy this, though. I definitely saw him as more confident and sure of purpose in this rewatch.

Hmm. I might buy that if he didn’t seem so callous throughout the scene (and hadn’t gone so far to protect and rescue other rebels and spies in the show—he walked Mon Mothma right out of the senate!).
