If the West had acted in2014 , this wouldn’t have happened.
If the West had acted 3 years ago we wouldn’t be in this position and we would have had US full support.
Each month of the West’s words but no meaningful action makes things harder.

That wld be the sweetener - u go so ur kids don’t have too.
Over 55s could prob afford to buy their own equipment like knights of yore.
It wld be dreadful. Hardly anyone would make it back but we would win.

My idea would be to conscript everybody across Europe between 55 and 70.
Look at social media it’s awash with washboard abs amongst the over 50s
If you haven’t done what you wanted to by the time ur 55 you only have urself to blame.
And it’s much better that you rather than ur children

Towhat extent are Europeans prepared to accept conscription to help Ukraine?
Putin is willing to sacrifice his young population, and on the basis that sanctions and supply of weaponry haven’t worked, we can only win by doing the same and then some.
How many of us are ready to vote for that yet?

Given Trump’s a draft dodger, he hasn’t got the minerals to stand up to Putin. And he won’t get Ukraine’s minerals either.

One complication has arisen.
It is unclear why the new advertising campaign
“Dogging in Guernsey” has been withdrawn.

One of my regrets is I never owned a Fender Rhodes piano. Had the chance to buy one over here about 30 years ago and haven’t seen one since.

If it’s anything like my experience with my kids, you’ll still end up buying his equipment for a little while yet😀

I’m pleased my kids learned about the water at Beau sejour monster island( later stopped I think for H And S) -before I belatedly found out they had been jumping off rocks on the West Coast.

Today it’s diving boards, tomorrow it’ll be stairs, steps, cliff-faces and even steep hills.
It’s important that all these troublesome barriers are removed to pave the way for our rightful masters to take over - The Intergalactic Dalek Overlords.

The last bout of safety legislation was justified by one member saying they once saw a gardener strimming without a visor.

Guernsey States Debate
Guernsey retailers are pleased to support Guernsey Post losses with their taxes so GPO can take their business.
Hopefully when Guernsey retailers start collecting GST on a pro bono basis, they can look forward to be further being disadvantaged.
What is going on?

It’s not often a states dept has direct competiton
Eg there is only one planning authority so you can’t go to another one and ask for cheaper charges
However with Education it’s different .
In this political term, EC has literally sprouted a new senior school for the first time since 1563

Difficulty in addressing rise of public sector cost - a big vote to irritate
