On my end I'm also diabetic so this is smth I wanna achieve regardless of weight, which does add some motivation, but I have seen some immediate results without like, MASSIVELY fucking my normal eating habits

I've started to slowly lose weight again now it's coming up on winter (means I can get my steps in and not overheat), and big thing for me has just been cutting sugar/carbs. Shit like low carb wraps over bread and lentils over rice (similar carbs on that second one but more protein etc etc)

22.) Dream Mirror is another really bad deck I was very invested in. I'm a big fan of the two-sided chaos aesthetic (if anyone here is a Maplestory fan, I was big into Luminous back in the day), and this card is not only a really sick part of the deck but also huge gender goals

21.) In case Branded in Central Dogmatika didn't make it obvious, I'm a big fan of the "unbelievable number of eyes" aesthetic, and this is a sick-ass card art bc of it. I remember trying to draw this a ton in middle school just bc of how much I loved the aesthetic, real formative shit.

I'm getting real close to it myself. Site's sooo bad now, especially since the election.

Deck rocks so much tbh. Big fan of the Kashtira lists personally. Extra starters through Fenrir, Unicorn is a wild card, gives you some game into Lancea, etc etc

20.) While Dark Necrofear was ONE of the first boss monsters I played for playground reasons, this was THE first (not counting fake cards I found at the bazaar lmao). This dude formed so much of my early aesthetic interests. Do you all realize how many characters I gave wrist blades to bc of him?

19.) Look. I KNOW Tistina is bad. I get it. But Crystal God is so fucking sick. It has such a cool effect and the aesthetic ROCKS. Like yeah I wanna jam the unspeakably horrific crystal plague that infects anything it touches. I hope the OCG support in ALIN is good PLEASE

18.) I remember trying to brew something with this and Metalfoes/Fire Kings years ago and it gave me a love for the card. This thing's so borderline, one of those cards where I can see them breaking this some time in the next 5 years bc of some new incidental plant deck.

SD is a WIP and I'm thinking heavily about Ulti Slayer for it. I wanna be on Lancea bc I hate the Maliss mu.

It was a really cool deck! Had a niche as the only Scythe deck that natively set up a backrow omni-negate, helped a lot into things like Droplets. I do wish the deck got something new.

17.) Bit of a love-hate with this one, but back when Pot of Desires (I think it was Cupidity at the time?) first got revealed, I was one of the absolute loudest in online forums like Pojo that the card was obscene despite the outcries of "but what if I banish my 3-of". Well I was right, get fucked.

16.) I don't talk abt it much, but I do jam some Edison, and when I do it's usually with Machina, all because of this little guy right here. 1800 +1 on normal that grabs a big hard to out fucker? Hell yeah

15.) I got my first top back during Halq Scythe format with Libromancer, and Doombroker is just the coolest card imo. Acting as a sorta breaker+turn 1 disruption rocks, and the Libro deck as a whole is really cool. Wish they got some love.

14.) Memento's been on my mind since reveal and has been my deck of choice for competitive play since LEDE. Really cool deck, a ton of fun to play, exceptionally strong engine as opposed to relying heavily on non-engine, and Combined Creation is just what ties it all together.

13.) Not TCG legal yet, but Maliss makes me happy bc I've been waiting for an Alice in Wonderland deck since I was like, 14. Legitimately, the first custom archetype I ever made was AiW-themed! Very happy we finally have this.

12.) Not much of a story to this one, this just has one of my, if not my absolute, favorite arts in the game. Gorgeous and haunting shit going on here, please go look at an HD render of this if you haven't.

11.) Fabled was another really early deck I latched on to. I remember watching Shatner's Prodigy and netdecking the wild combo builds when I was younger. Good times.
Also like, she's cute. If you couldn't tell by Reficule/Condemned, I like fallen angels.

10.) Ally Mind is a funny one. If anyone remembers there was an Ally Mind Quasar deck, where you'd use Level Eater+all the normal monster reborns to repeatedly pump out 5 synchros. Really cool deck and one of my favorite historic "jank" brews.

There's some mods that help delay the DB assassin, if that helps. Old DLC means it was intended for an audience that was already of a decent level after playing the game for a while, which does cause the obvious frustrating situation if "dog I just got off a boat what the fuck"

9.) I just love the design on this card. A completely generic trap searcher but because of needing to banish 1 of the same from deck and blocking you from other traps for rest of turn, it both doesn't mean the banlist limited power traps does nothing and it has a real restriction. Banger tbh.

8.) Spellbook gaming on DN is probably what pushed me initially to play more seriously. I played "real" decks before, but Spellbook was the first actually tiered deck I tried to learn. Admittedly I had an obsession with and it was due to this dogshit guy, but like, still lmao.

7.) Can't do this trend without mentioning my girl Drident. The boss monster of my favorite deck in the game, just an incredibly low to the ground resource generation machine. TCG bring her back PLEASE

(Gonna start tracking the like number here for my sake, so:)
6.) Nurse burn was the first "real" deck I got interested in as a kid that wans't just a pile of playground staples. The idea of the "corrupted priest" deck was really appealing to me.

RGS was a lot for me, all on the back of this lime jell-o fucker. My first deck I took to a YCS, what I'd consider my first real deckbuilding contribution to the community, and probably what fully pushed me into playing more competitively (even if it's still with dogshit decks)

Big formative card in figuring out the types of decks I loved as I began to play more and more competitively, just such a cool card that represents simple plusses, grind, and interruption with flexibility going first and second.

This was the one of the first cards I ever owned that I tried to make a deck out of as a kid and is probably my favorite nostalgia card as a result

Overall, idt the deck is like, in a GREAT place now. Probably misses the mark of being tiered meaningfully. That being said I will absolutely be jamming the fuck out of it and will maybe be playing it for the NAWCQ if we get them in June like the TW01 stuff.

It's also worth looking at other engines. Ryzeal is interesting bc Avance accesses Duodrive and Seventh Tachyon gets to both halves of the deck, VoVo has synergy bc Skull Guardian/Saff can add/send Nekrozes, and the Armored Xyz stuff has some funny synergy with looping Toadally.

Most of your 2 carders should end on Unicore+Areadbhair/Metaltron+followup, which isn't the worst place to be for a Ritual deck. Floodgate+disruption/insulation for it is nice. Also not great though tbh.
comment in response to

That being said, the deck is definitely more coherent than before, it's not like the cards are bad. Avance+Emilia are great Normals, Metaltron is a good endboard piece, and a fourth Quickplay(!!!) Ritual Spell with far fewer restrictions is nice.

As for the big question of "are the new cards good?", the answer is... kind of? Like they ARE, but they also feel like the weakest of the TW02 waves. Notably, the deck still missing a starter Spell like Crystron got is REALLY hurting it.

Not a fan of the deck personally but there's definitely an appeal to it in that it's 40 cards that read "wipe board/fucking kill your opp". Very timmy-esque in a way. That being said, yes, deck is incredibly simple to play compared to like, SE, so it's a nice option for longer tourneys competitively

We're in the Nekroz support waiting room (which tbh I've been not posting bc I'm just waiting anxiously for that shit) so have this in the interim
