I had the privilege of seeing some of his work up close.
I graduated from an art school in Hamden, Connecticut, in the late 1970s.
The school arranged a bus trip to the Society of Illustrators in NYC for their annual awards show. Robert McGinnis frequently had a painting or two included.

JA 629. A digital pen & ink technique made in Krita.
My reference was a vintage French postcard from 1910. Jean Agélou was the photographer, and the model is unknown.
