Ah they decided they don't like healthy ratings then.

Revenge, because if you own the Pal version, there's a pull out quote on the box from a review I wrote. I also awarded it the "Top Banana Award" pictured. It also happens to be the best game here.

He's obviously going to win. They want to create a YES! like moment in the wider culture, and have a massive stadium yeeting in celebration. He wont last long and won't be The Guy, but he has to win or it's all pointless. Like, Punk don't need to win the belt, but just to headline - Jey HAS to win.

What do you say if a stranger asks you what it is? "Oh it's this wrestler who does flips and has no charisma and cuts people open with golden scissors...wait why are you backing away slowly like I'm the saddest loser you ever conversed with?!" I'd be amazed if they sell a single one.

He knew a couple of extra moves. Whether he had main event aura [without Bret as his opponent] we'll never know. I doubt he'd have had those epic main event matches with compelling stories that Bret knew how to do. Did Owen have that psychology? We never really got to see.

That's amazing, thanks!

For clarity Kane Dingle is not the one from Emmerdale. This one spawned at SovPro last year. In a match which included *checks notes* les battersby and Ashley Peacock (risen from the dead) Wrestling ✨️

Are you telling me there was a real Kane Dingle in wrestling after I thought this was my ideas? youtu.be/eYjKLuXFBUQ

I got no problem with that.

Somehow missed that! I remember thinking he was about to blow up when Whatculture were making their own wrestling shows, that was ages ago, it's about time he hit the big time!

What's the deal with TNA and WWE? I haven't understood why people were talking about Joe Hendry going to WWW when he's been with TNA for instance.
comment in response to post
Well looking at him that's not going to be very long is it?

Thanks! 😀

This isn't relevant to that though right?

You wouldn't say that if Perfect had done it MON SOOOON

Surely this is awful news. I was kinda hoping Raw would go to two hours, and it's not. Might have started watching it for the first time since 1997 if they did.

Cody landed on the chair, it went nowhere near Owens.

I'm jumping to conclusions but the last panel is about the patriarchy? I can't...see that explained there. That's a conclusion you've jumped to. You're probably right, but still. Those two are NOT painted in a sympathetic light or as victims and if the person who made this intended that they failed.

First of all, I'm not saying men like that don't exist. But this cartoon doesn't say "some men are lonely because men aren't really taught how to relate emotionally to each other", does it? This cartoon says "lonely men are homophobic idiots who deserve it". This isn't helpful, it's mocking.
comment in response to post
Other people here are casually and lazily drawing parallels between lonely people, bigots and incels, while others seem to be mocking and rubbing it in - "if you're lonely it's because you're awful". I thought the stupid pricks were meant to stay on X.
comment in response to post
I don't think this is true, men who have nobody to talk to aren't generally lying, and it's pretty unhelpful to suggest lonely people are bringing it on themselves. Or are homophobes. In fact the more I think about it the more I realise this cartonn is a pure dick move bringing nothing positive.

Possibly, people are definitely sad about it! I had the impression the crowd were grinning while booing them the other night though, kind of a "hell yeah this is great, let's keep getting louder so they give up" sort of thing - how much was piped in I don't know, I can never tell!
comment in response to post
I know they were booed out of the building but I don't think it's quite the same as go-away heat, that would suggest we don't want to even see it play out. It was go-away heat that the fans were "in on" which is different to the classic example with X-Pac.

"rehearsing their match" still feels unnatural to me
comment in response to post
Oh crikey they're serious about this then. This is a 'mania main event.
comment in response to post
I don't know, there's almost too much real star power there to figure out who they'll put the top belts on, I really don't think it'll be him any time soon, if ever.

What positive impact? I don't think providing a wrestling show with the occasional amazing high but where the rest is complete bollocks is something that would count as doing "enough good" to outweigh sexual assault. What about how Massaro was treated, are we supposed to ignore less recent ones too?
