NEW — In an alarming email last night reviewed by me, Coast Guard members learned that 1,135 members' direct deposit account routing information was compromised due to a data breach from unauthorized access. It was only discovered because an officer “reported anomalous activity” on their account.

Honestly? I deleted Bluesky off my phone, because after just 72 hours, I could not take mainlining panic and bad news for one single second longer. I'm inclined to recommend that other people do the same. Inhaling every second's worth of depressing, awful shit isn't going to help you or anyone else.
