Keeping the triple lock costs 10 billion a year and increased pensions by more than fuel allowance was cut.

There's already atleast one waiting on approval.

I don't see how this can happen.

'They aren't on twitter, they are in your local community' That is absolutely going on billboard for the upcoming local elections.

Tories are definitely having atleast one more go of the merry-go-round before the next election.

Has Spain said it wouldn't veto it yet?

A good chunk of the left didn't vote Labour last time as it was clear the Tories were gonna lose by a Landslide. If a reform government is a realistically outcome it's gonna scare and unite the left like nothing Starmer can do.

This is why I think Labour are being massively underrated for the next election. Interest rates likely keep going down which will put upwards of pressure on the economy regardless of what the government will do.

Foot kept the SDP to third place. It remains to be seen if she meets that lofty legacy.

There will be a general election by July 2029.

The local level ground game is dogshit but seem to do better when a campaign is nationalised. I imagine they will do better in May, although the bar is pretty low vs getting less than 5 percent lol

Isn't keeping the triple lock going to give pensioners more than the winter fuel allowance anyway lol.

Idk why people are surprised by this or him saying this. Even if he was planning to call an early election he wouldn't announce it to the opposition.

The platform loses it's value without Libs to own. They don't want thier own space really.

It's crazy how close Dole and Harris are.

I think they are still in denial about thier loss too, thinking Trump came back after 4 years so they can easily do the same, regardless of the very different circumstances. It feels like Reform are terminally online for sure, idk if Tories are quite there yet.

Did you read the audit the underspend went straight back to Scotland after 2007.

Also she's definitely setting herself up for accusations of having a magic money tree. She's struggling to square the circle of wanting to hit Labour for taxes without hitting Labour for spending.

New opposition leaders do often take a bit of time to find thier stride in her defence. But it's frustrating her acting like she wasn't in government most of the last few years and she's not really got a good answer for it.

Also this was not decades ago.

Checkout the actual audit and agreed spending of the underpent. audit.scot/docs/central... It's not some giant conspiracy.

SNP had either bigger underspend recently. It will probably eventually be spent. The money was eventually spent in the 08-11 budgets, not sent to England. www.heraldscotland.com/politics/231...

Labour had control of Scotland for 8 years. Not decades. And at no point did they have an outright majority. SNP have been in power over double the time of Labour in Scotland.

This is low effort clickbait, The dragon age franchise has had similar LGBT representation since the start. I remember Fox news giving Bioware shit back in 2008. It's the same shit over and over again.

Also probably means they aimed for winter 24 release but had to push back, probably due to supply issues as Nintendo seem to always have supply issues with new consoles.

Idk about Elon but looks like it's starting to dawn on a lot of the right what they are left with if this Xodus is real and sustained.
