Back in my younger days I used to play in a county snooker team and tbh we were a bit unorthodox. Working mens club background for all of us and captain had to pick 4 from a team of 6. First rule was you had to have drank 3 pints before first frame at 7:15pm. Battered most weeks, still ended 1st π€·ββοΈ

Paltry is variable needs more detail, could be two pints and Apple shots or 8 pints, 2 Yaeger bombs and 2 Tequila slammers.

You did a fantastic job, Erik, thank you. It was great for him to see how much he meant to us, beyond just football

I feel crazy for saying it but it was like a religion with him and he was our messiah π

I didn't get a tattoo but loved him to bits. More than just football, he was everything you want and hope for in a human being. His unwavering humility and his caring outlook made me feel good.

I'm hopeful too. We're wary and cynical of owners for good reason, but I'm hopeful they'll be reyt by us, while meeting their shareholders expectations.

Supposedly live tracking data for our players but doubt the data is available to opposition. Might be worth an investment in a Bluetooth hacking team π

I hope I don't regret this, but on the face of last two games, start Rothwell. I've enjoyed his progressive runs and his dead ball deliveries are the best we've got.

The highest complement you can give him.
I'm so pleased we're scoring loads and not scrappy ones either.

π brilliant, Firpo mug incoming π
I just think when you get that high view, it's probably easier for one person to see patterns of behaviour, rather than a few looking at different areas or aspects. Like when we're watching us play out and our attackers are making runs. See it IRL but not on TV well

Yeah it does, but it's only our players visible I'm guessing, so no view of how tight the press is or where space is in their lines?

I'm not sure you know? I mean they all do post match analysis using higher level video but not sure about in realtime

Sat pitch side loads with ticket lotto, and while I don't need me glasses as much, it's so much harder at ground level to judge everyone equally. Your field of view is narrow by comparison to even 15 rows back. Much better FOV wiout swinging neck about.

Pirate reminds me of the stereotypical joke where a chap asks a lady what she does for a living. She's says I'm a pirate. Oh, like robbing people? No, I fry aeropranes. Hope you're have a great day chuck π

I tell them they own us completely since when 5pm comes, you can't switch your brain out of problem solving mode. The perils of core control softwareπ

I'm still to watch this week's but absolutely 100% agree. The first series was spot on and provoked a lot of discussion around our work stuff and our IPR.

I was willing that halfway line shot to go in, tho he did have a couple of other shouts. Think he was still happy enough.

I'm sure I'm undiagnosed too, I can talk for England if it were a sport π
Cow Lactose Int, I'm told, is widespread in parts of far east, as they've never become accustomed to cows milk. Barmy what we eat really when you think about it. Fish eggs, in beer! π

I'm a fan of a decent black coffee. Best treat I got last year was a semi auto Sage machine. I can piddle around if I like in manual mode when I've time or just pull the lever and whack it on in a rush. Β£20/month for decent beans tho too

It's too complicated even for the experts. I had an argument with an allergy specialist about milk left on the steam wand in Costa π I said I didn't worry. He didn't understand that ppm is a ratio and while oat milk can contain 1% wheat, my estimate still brings it low. Need to drink Costa 4 days π

Hard to measure in practice but they say about 10mg/day is max, 20ppm in any product. A couple of breadcrumbs could be enough.

But never realised it can be fatal, some never re over after removing gluten from their diet. Causes brain fog, nerve damage, mainly from the over compensating immune system, which is also why a high % of Coeliacs are type 1 Diabetics π

Me neither, was completely ignorant. 5ish years after cancer and still having abdominal pains, blamed on C surgery, but just started vomiting after every meal. Endoscopy confirmed there wasn't much left to absorb stuff as villae? all scarred. Then found Dairy int was added for good measure π

πΊ My iron, VitD and calcium levels were low for years and they ignored and blamed my diet. All recovered 3 months after being gf. Unfortunately stomach scar tissue can take 5 years to recover and my bowel cancer and degenerated spine most likely blamed on gluten damage now. Still miss real bread π₯Ή

Been told that if it's not a recent diagnosis, to check with docs as Coeliac UK research think there are some Coeliacs who don't present all the obvs symptoms but may be affected by the more damaging ones.. I may have been +15 years undiagnosed and just thought it was iffy digestive system.

Mostly one of two techniques, one long brewing process makes some GF and they can also add an enzyme that breaks down the gluten but doesn't remove it as such. The gluten part in malt/barley/wheat/rye are all the same shape and trigger Coeliac immune system -
