I really don't think you explained very well how the US economy has been shaped. So just by existing, the boomer generation shaped capitalism as we know it in this country? Ever heard of chattel slavery? I think that mindset better explains how the economy was "shaped." Read Foner's "Reconstruction"

I just dont think a judge who won a state election is going to be denied that spot and just accept it lying down. I dont doubt for a second they can succeed in taking it from her, but she won't just roll over.
