Removing limitations/regulations on pollutants ONLY supports corporations/mega-polluters. It puts this nation’s environment, wildlife, and citizens at risk. And, for those in the back having difficulty understanding why this was sped through Congress. Take a look at what elon is doing in Texas…

I made fettuccine alfredo with coconut milk for the base (I used heavy cream for the sauce) because we ran out of milk and I didn’t want to go to the store. It is slightly sweeter but… GOOD!!!!

Interviewed Josh Hartnett and Katee Sackhoff today and Rebel Wilson yesterday for The NRW… How’s everyone else doing?

Morrison/Quitely's NEW X-MEN run is fabulous and a great place to start the modern era imho.

Getting to watch 'The Legend of Kingdom Come' documentary and really, really missing the comic industry right now.

It’s been an absolute mess trying to get back home from Buffalo. Spent over 16 hours in an airport trying to get on an United flight (over 24 hours in total, had to get a hotel) that NEVER arrived, leading to me having to drive SEVEN HOURS solo back to DC. So tired. But I got to see #Niagara!

May the Fourth be with you! (Sign outside of Avoca, NY.)

Germany made their stance CLEAR.

I started some new work which requires me to (literally) go knock on doors. Not awful work. But! The genius that I am, who has worked from home for 5 years, I completely didn’t consider… THE SUN?!? Being paler than white bread, I burned! And, to add crisp to the fries, I HAVE SUNGLASSES LINES!

Yet another reason to pick the bear.

“Natasha Lyonne to direct and star in a sci-fi film by using an incredibly inconsistent amalgamation of stolen images, dumping decades of respect for her craft down the toilet.”

Flamin’ Hot “Korean-style” BBQ chips? Hmmmm. Nah, totally not something I’d ever try. (I already ate them, didn’t I?)

The spiraling into a militarized authoritarian state is escalating.

Did an interview today for a documentary about a feminist movement during a military dictatorship (more info to come) and… History is a f*cking circle.

Watched the ‘Tron: Ares’ trailer as a react for The NRW and it looked pretty good. Gives serious, action-packed ‘Pixels’ (2015) vibes. Then… Leto appeared. Yes, he was announced a long time ago but I was honestly pleasantly distracted until that final moment. And… any interest ran away again.

I looked at this without reading the caption and immediately assumed it was Spice Girls fan art! Until the Barbie image… >.>

For those who believe cutting thousands of federal positions is "beneficial" to the economy... This is the DMV right now. My husband (Gen X) and I (Millennial) are nosey and enjoy looking through Zillow (SNL got it right). We haven't seen this many homes up for sale since the bubble burst.

Dave Bautista wearing a “Woke Up Sexy Again”sweater. That is all.

Greetings from Dallas Comic Show

Just finished 'Hell of a Summer' and... It was a bit goofy, very cliche, saw the "twist" coming from a mile away, and I wish it was more gory but... Overall a fun popcorn flick!

Hot Take: Helluva Boss is better (and gayer) than Hazbin Hotel (which is great and I love it, don’t get me wrong) and I cannot wait for more people to see it!!!!

We are getting dangerously close to “hiding people in the attic.” Arresting judges and breaking into your home without a warrant. This will absolutely be taken advantage of by “non-uniformed” private militias.

“They’re just being sarcastic! They’ll never actually arrest judges!” Now that there is the first (public) political arrest, wonder where the goalpost will be moved to next?

This is abhorrent!

Been a long time since I just watched trailers without doing a full react (or even just watched trailers in general). Spent the last 30 minutes just watching trailers. Some cool looking films and TV coming!

Been seeing an increase in statements like: “This is awful but we just need to push through it. It will all be over in four years!” Y’all… IT’S BEEN 93 DAYS!!! We need to stop looking YEARS into the future and fight now!!!

Alright. Food is too expensive! Needed to get back into the cooking thing! Meal prepped some protein rich tuna pasta salads with a mustard vinaigrette for lunches and some Beef & Broccoli for dinner.

This press release is on a federal website. A supposed nonpartisan department. The propaganda is blatant and dangerous.

Yes, I have watched Andor Season 2. Yes, I loved it. Yes, here is a mini review. Yes, it arrives on Disney+ today (Tuesday, April 22) at 9PM ET/ 6PM PT. Patrick Michael Strange and my full review will be up soon on Nerds Rule The World!

Cows, sheep, cats, and humans! The last review on H5N1 released in the US by the CDC and/or USDA was March 20. The admin is INTENTIONALLY ignoring the disease. Protect yourself. Protect your pets. Protect wildlife and farm herds. This is going to do major damage at a global scale!

If you think they’re going to stop at the crimization of “thought” strictly with their rewritten definition of antisemitism (yes, they are manipulating the meaning to better support their white nationalist, illegal activities), you’re not paying attention.

FINALLY starting Wind Breaker Season 2!!! I have missed this anime so much!!!!!

John and I have completed our first official“shift” as Trail Ambassadors at Manassas Battlefield! Greeted many people, chatted with a few, picked up some trash. Getting to hike some trails while donating our time to the #nationalparks!

Another step towards authoritarianism. Nonpartisan roles being flipped to “at will,” allowing for quicker, less consequential firings. This ensures loyalty, not productivity. Either lick the boot, bend the knee, or lose your livelihood.

“The cuts ordered in the Trump administration memo are not targeted at specific countries. Rather, they eliminate entire categories of abuses from all the reports.” Gender-based abuse, disabled abuses, privacy violations, coercion are no longer to be documented. And this is just the beginning.

Have any of y’all shifted to reusable “paper” towels? Are you happy with them? How often do you clean them? Are they still a single use and throw them in the wash kind of thing? I have concerns about fabric quality and frequency of wash but we’re trying to get away from single use goods.

Dear International Travelers; Per the trump administration, it is not safe for you to visit the US. Though small businesses, the livelihoods of millions of people, our state and national economies, and our political relationships depend on you visiting, it is not safe.

If you were worried about the Project 2025 ppl getting a foothold in the UK, they already have. Trans people need to be supported, they are for sure at the thin end of the wedge.

The Amsterdam office of John’s company gave him a small “stroopwafel” jenever (basically Dutch gin) as a thank you gift before he left. And, since Espresso martinis were on, like, EV-ER-Y menu, I made myself a Stroopwafel Espresso Martini (sorry, I don’t have martini glasses). Holy f*ck!

My husband: “Wait. Were you watching Moon Knight?” Me: Yes. Him: “AGAIN?!?!?” Me:

Been slowly chipping away at this as my warmup and I think it’s finally done (since I can’t fit anything else in :P ). So here’s THE ADDAMS FAMILY

This is my last Amsterdam post but it was the most impactful part and I apologize for the length (in pictures), but it is important. I went to many museums in Amsterdam. However, I will probably carry my experience at the Verzetsmuseum (Dutch WWII Resistance Museum) with me for the rest of my life.

I walked 49.25 miles, 15 on day one, in and about Amsterdam. Much of the time, between museums and cafes.

When I say you don’t have to worry about microplastics in your brain I mean that there is much stronger evidence that you should be worrying about other things that you don’t ever think about, like the draining of peatlands for agriculture, and things that you think about all the time, like fascism.
