Fascinating profile of a park ranger in San Francisco who works with unhoused residents and has adopted the novel tactic of treating them like human beings, building relationships, and helping them access resources on their own timeline.

At the stonewall monument rn

I LIED! THEY CAME BACK! I promise I’ll get around to reading that article from 2021 one of these days…

I (finally) got a new phone and lost my open 404 emotional support tabs 😭

I included my “devirginization” certificate from a live Rocky Horror Picture Show screening in my senior portfolio.

It reminds me of moms I interviewed who stopped following the news once they sent their kids back to in-person school after Covid closures. They told me "I'm putting my head in the sand." They didn't want to know what was happening because knowing meant having to do something with that knowledge.

Technically it’s the Kroger deli in Bowling Green, KY, but I’d like to think it’s the interview for a band instrument repair gig that I walked out on at Sam Ash on 34th St.

So he’s paying off all our student loans, right? Right?!

It turns out that a brisk walk through the park, a tiny cup of coffee from the world’s friendliest concessions guy, and a beautiful woman in a red evening gown playing the shit out of the piano is enough to turn my mood around.

Anthony Pinciotti’s service from this afternoon is available to stream if you, like me, were unable to attend. Anthony immediately brought me into the fold when I moved to NYC and always made me feel special. He was an amazing person and beautiful musician. www.youtube.com/live/0ok6EqH...

I’ve seen the numbers within the congestion pricing zone. Do we have stats about traffic outside the zone? I’m curious if it’s worse at the GWB with folks avoiding the tunnels. FWIW, I ride a NJ Transit bus into Port Authority every day and it has been much faster!

I heard that some guy I went to grad school with [who is a rightwing hack] got $10 million from an 'anonymous' donor to do some bullshit. Our side is scrounging for change in the cushions of a loveseat.

Two of my Rose Rank and File Union siblings are running for positions on our Local Executive Board. We’re raising funds to support them with their campaign. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will make a difference! givebutter.com/tjdSc0

NYC LibraryPAC has launched and is approaching it's first fundraising deadline tonight at midnight - actionnetwork.org/fundraising/...

No one is coming to save us. We’ve got to be there for each other.

Guy Drives A Car Into Manhattan To Drive A Horse Around Manhattan has to be my favorite NYT Congestion Pricing character so far

Do you support New York City's public libraries? Do you hate the endless budget dance that puts library funding on the line year after year? LibraryPAC is committed to helping elect leaders who see libraries as essential and not as political footballs. Join us! actionnetwork.org/fundraising/...

My bus is flying through the Lincoln Tunnel this morning. This is a marked difference from pre-congestion pricing. I hope it holds.
