When I was 16, I would read approximately one "Christian romance" book every few days. Most of them carried the harmful 'not like other girls' trope and greatly contributed to my internalized misogyny. While I think this trope is alive and well, it's nowhere to be seen in @courtneymilan.com's books

So I'm still seeing things in the periphery about misogyny in fantasy and one thing I can definitively say is that if you make a list of authors who are not doing misogyny in fantasy and everybody on your list is a man, I definitely discard everything you just said. Have an iota of self awareness.
