Having a flu break, bare with. Will concentrate on following those kind enough to have followed me as soon as my brain recovers 🥰

Maybe when the ‘petition for another general election 🤪’ gets to 6 million (not including bots), we could have a double referendum, put the Tories in third place in the House of Commons, lose Reform altogether and bin off Brexit too 😉

Would be interesting what role X and shady data deals have played in this petition. Maybe it's time for Keir Starmers government to have a closer look into that.

In three hours last night, Elon Musk posted over 125 times. And he's still at it. Something is way off.

Sadiq Khan details his plan to build 6,000 rent-controlled homes for 'everyday heroes' The plan to build thousands of rent-controlled homes could save ‘key workers’ in London up to £600 per month on their rent, according to City Hall www.standard.co.uk/news/london/...

Stephen Simblet, "Why was there a stop order on FFP3 masks in June 2020 given they are the best protection for an airborne virus, and there's evidence that covid is airborne?" Matt Hancock, "I've no idea why stop order was put in place, if I had seen it, I wouldn't have approved it"

Bellyaching and scaremongering from feather-bedded landowners and farmers is hammered by this @theifs.bsky.social analysis. Nails guff about huge forced sales, food shortages, etc. Govt estimates tax changes raise £550m but they still enjoy £1.8bn in breaks. ifs.org.uk/articles/inh...

Anyone who is anti-vax is pro-death. Period. The science and data do not lie. And they don’t care about your podcast.

The GE petition that’s got 417k signatures is fake. As in, bots. It got 300k signatures OVER NIGHT. And the activity graph is incredibly uniform. This is a manipulation, and I’ll be interested what the parliamentary petitions committee investigation will be like.

We’re not going back.

I don’t think a United States senator saying this should be taken lightly

I know where they SHOULD be!

HAPPY SUNDAY FOLKS! I'm so excited: I just followed back 3,000 people, and I'm less than 3K from the big 300!!! ALSO, I JUST finished my 2nd Starter Pack. A HUGE thrill was people telling me they got 15,000 from my first one! I'm definitely doing another. Please share widely. go.bsky.app/RVpa7XQ

😆😆😆 Who did this one?

Tulsi Gabbard’s history with Russia is even more concerning than you think. One expert says her views are ‘so wildly fringe that her potential appointment as DNI is genuinely alarming.’

Oh, let's take good debt, put in into corrupt currency that will benefit Elon Musk. Someone needs to lock this asshole up. www.forbes.com/sites/digita...

I no longer even visit X but if someone told me there were threads of people on there encouraging their Nazi brethren to force feed their kids cat excretia as a substitute for measles vaccines or that Trump/Musk were reposting memes about Hitler being a good artist I wouldn’t be remotely surprised.

Wow, the UK's leading citizen journalism network is just about to hit 50k followers on Bluesky, can we do this today? Please share and lets make this happen!

Thank all that is holy for Bluesky 🦋

Dear BBC, every single time you put the Orange Turd on, I switch channels. You’re welcome.

Let the lesson be learned, a bird can turn into a butterfly, but not into an X.

I read a paper edition of the Financial Times today, cover to cover. Encountered all kinds of topics that algorithms would never show me.

As some of you won't know much about me, here is my episode of Desert Island Discs. It's 30 mins long, but if you manage to make it through, you'll see where the psychopathy comes from. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

What you see around you is the product of extreme Capitalism, only money is important, people, the environment.. the entire planet isn't. The craziest thing of all is that money isn't real. It only has value because people believe it does.

CAT ADVISORY: With temperatures remaining uncomfortably low and #StormBert on its way it's important that you find the warmest spot in the house and stay there. Tell your humans to keep the second warmest spot free in case you want a change of scenery.

What does a Trump-Vance administration mean for Europe and Ukraine? Past actions and campaign statements may provide insight.

“President-elect Trump has suffered a self-inflicted black eye with the withdrawal of former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) from consideration as attorney general. Trump had startled even some of his supporters by choosing Gaetz for the crucial position atop the Department of Justice”

John was our voice. He made us feel we had a right to be in Westminster. He was the first to give the North of England a political profile and paved the way for the devolution of powers to it. He made politics real and lifted the lives of millions. He was Our John. RIP

What will Starmer do about Netanyahu? www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/11... Netanyahu has been charged with war crimes. Starmer has not made clear what he will do as a result. That is not good enough.
