Here’s the thing: to our untrained eye, a corn field looks more “natural” than an array of solar panels. But a corn field is a biological desert—basically there are no pollinators there at all (corn is self-pollinating) because they are sprayed with pesticides and herbicides.

I managed to sleep a few hours. It was the hardest night in Kyiv. 14 people were killed and 99 were injured. Perhaps it is not a final number 💔 I opened the window (luckily, I still have one after this night). Then closed it. Kyiv is covered in terrible smoke.
