Yup. In the NYT, Frank Rich and Maureen Dowd ridiculed Al Gore's environmentalism. They wrote endless columns about him wearing earth tones and portrayed him as a pathological liar who claimed he invented the internet (he never said that). He was no better than Bush as far as they were concerned.
