"Greta Thunberg has anger management issues" says the President who throws a childish tantrum any time he doesn't get his way.

While I don't doubt anything you're saying, it's still Anglo-white privilege that is being challenged and provoked. That's why so many people feel like the image is rage bait instead of reading its actual meaning.

Let them provoke the white people. White Americans are way too damn comfortable.

How does calling them "hellholes" solve anything?

The real issue here is that the excessive reverence for small towns is in itself a political tactic simply for the fact that they DO have a disproportionate amount of power in the Senate and electoral college. Their over-representation is THE reason that Tr*mp won in 2016.

I grew up in a small town. They're actually almost socialist to each other, but they're just so isolated that the hand of politics is mostly invisible to them outside of what they see on the TV screen. They have no real experience with the problems they're told to care about.

Personality goes way further than physique in terms of how attractive men are. That wasn't just a pleasantry— we actually do pay attention to that!

I must be the main character of my friend group because all of my friends have the object permanence of a Skyrim NPC and I can't start any quests until I talk to them.

I don't see what speech-to-text has to do with AI. Speech-to-text is a very common accommodation for students on IEPs, and it would be breaking federal law to deny those students access to it.

No amount of searching the internet revealed anything even suggesting this to be factual, so probably not.

Linguistics, however, is a descriptive science. It does not attempt to prescribe usage, though it might ask WHY people believe certain usages are "more correct" than others (a discipline called "sociolinguistics").

Ok, so what's the plan?

"It's because it's so close to the sun" is a very tempting conclusion, but you do still need evidence to support a claim like that.

I, an autistic individual, have done every single one of those things that I supposedly don't do. 🤦‍♂️

The default reaction to posts we feel morally disgusted by being to insult that person's intelligence is quite revealing about the disgust felt toward people with learning and intellectual disabilities. Of course, most of them would never admit to that directly.

...thanks to the aggressive collaboration between President Eisenhower and representatives of the auto industry, which included the destruction of entire neighborhoods, many of which were predominantly black and POC, by eminent domain.

I disagree that the "morons" are themselves the problem. Holding individuals accountable for the failure of the entire US political system helps absolutely no one.

"patriotic, strong, manly men ripe for recruitment" Sir, as a gay man I have to say I don't think that quite comes off the way you were intending it to.

If we're being perfectly honest, I've never cared for "the goop" either. I just do not like the feeling of touching something sticky! Ick!

"Third World" countries' major cities look more like this. It's just egregious to cherry pick the most exaggerated photos of LDCs and present it as reality. (Images: Kinshasa, DRC; Port-Au-Prince, Haiti; Phnom Penh, Cambodia)
