Thank you for engaging politely. I do agree with the point you made, just wish it wasn’t so. Here in Canada we suffer similar problems. Electoral Reform is an obvious fix, supported by all who are not in power. Until they come into power.

I agree my post sounded naive. As an interested outsider I closely watch event and politics in the US & am well aware of the inequality and the racism. But the path to addresses that was spurned by a majority, likely because the other candidate was a Black South Asian woman. Elections matter.

Believe me I get your point. But doesn’t that mean that supporting taking the law into your own hands is a slippery slope?

It doesn’t matter if the Shooter’s actions resonate with your values. It doesn’t matter that the deceased was a despicable person. The shooter committed murder, in public, in broad daylight. The US is a country where the “rule of law” is paramount. If you don’t like injustice then vote next time.

A well made Raw Milk Cheese is a thing of beauty, a centuries old artesian craft. Just chugging raw milk, not so much.

Thank you for your opinion.

That wasn’t what I was commenting upon. I will not be drawn into an “us vs them” argument. I deliberately declined to bestow any judgement upon any of the bad actors. I merely noted, that Israel will benefit as will Turkey and others.

I am priming myself to be disappointed, but my heart hopes to be pleasantly surprised.

Recently, we saw hope fade into massive disappointment with the US Elections. Now in Syria, once again we have great hope that secular government institutions will continue. Should free & fair elections happen & create a government, free of sectarian influence, it would be a shining beacon of hope.

Almost. Tourtiere, is a traditional Quebec winter meat pie, with of braised meat, game, warm spices & aromatics. Instead of a Pie Bird or messy vent hole, I thought a veal marrow bone would be an elegant solution. It worked very well, the rendered veal marrow adding to the decadence.

It would make no difference it would set a bad precedent and initiate retaliatory muck taking. Over 50% of Americans have no problem with Trumps behaviour, past or present. The rest of you. already know the truth.

I never felt drawn to Twitter, though I knew I was missing out. My brother is an addict and major contributor. Just when I was ready to cave, Musk bought it. Immediately my Spidey Sense told me “no don’t do it” I don’t have that vibe here.

Exactly. The money behind all the news organizations is behind Trump.

I’m in hospital at this moment, in Vancouver BC. My dog is allowed in, welcomed even so I will see home tomorrow. However, any rumours of my imminent passing are premature.

It’s not just you. It’s a shit show. They keep hiring 17 year olds to write code that looks “cool”. And desperate supervisors “ok” it because they still want to be relevant and deny they are approaching a mid life crisis.

Raw milk is sketchy, but Raw Milk cheese is not. We are fortunate to have access to incredible unpasteurized milk cheese in Canada. The flavours and aromas are incredible. Some of these cheeses have been made this way for centuries, trust the masters.

At this point, the only people who think this is a big deal are people I don’t really care about.

I think there already is. However, the right to turn it off is equally important. I know it’s not fair or equal, but suspension of disbelief is not possible with subtitles.

As long as the Russian population supports the war, they will have a near endless supply of “marks” to send into battle to die.

The black plastic tools must go. They leach out micro plastic particles. Even the Epicuian tools and boards do it. Heat is what releases it. I won’t use bamboo either as it’s laminated with glue. Solid wood is best.

As I knew the election results, I deleted all my recordings & upcoming. I haven’t watched since. In 2016 it was 3 hours a day. Now, maybe 20 minutes a week.
