10:14 in Berlin. An English-accented man in the platz below the hotel is screaming the top of his head right off about the traitors responsible for the assassination of JFK. Have to say, you rarely get that in SW Virginia. This is why we travel, I guess.

I owed 100k despite paying for 15 years. It was forgiven under this program, and it changed my family’s life and future. So now, is my school going to have to be performatively cruel to our trans or immigrant kids, lest its employees suffer? We won’t, and we shouldn’t, and they will.
