Colleague once facilitated a workshop where they played "Two truths and a lie" as the ice breaker. Someone wrote "I've been to prison" on their paper. It wasn't their lie. Somewhat derailed the rest of the agenda.

It was a convoluted process to report and when I clicked submit I was then issued with a warning that my account was likely to be blocked for too much activity. But, sure, they're really keen stop under 16s using their platforms. (2/2)

Young Voices? My son is there on Thursday. I accidentally made sure I had a timetable clash which meant I unfortunately can't go but my husband was serendipitously available. I feel vindicated in my diary management.

Not as insane as Liz Truss's advice on how to cook roast potatoes. Which does beg the question if we ought to have some sort of food preferences filter for elected officials as it seems a solid predictor on fitness for office.

My son, aged about 3 or 4, was once allowed to press the ACTUAL BUTTON on the back of the lorry that picked the wheelie bins up. He still talks about it as one of his greatest days and he's 8 now. Bin men are heroes.

My child refused to go to the cinema with me to watch Paddington 3. Even when I promised pick n mix sweets.

Also I have been to one of the least visited railways stations! I used to catch the train to Denham from Sudbury Hill Harrow, having first got the Piccadilly line to Sudbury Hill. Don't think I ever saw anyone else at the station...

In a similar style I can recommend Clubland Cooking and also Len Deighton's Action Cook Book, the latter mainly for it's hilarious suggestion of what you should keep in stock in your wine cellar at all times

I feel compelled to buy this for my husband for Christmas now regardless of any forthcoming endorsement. Am assuming high levels of retro menu suggestions
