yeah- security cameras are a little different (although there ARE laws on where they can overlook- basically not *into* private areas. for the most part). it’s a tricky balance for sure though.

haha. foxes are gorgeous but as pets they're apparently horrible. they have wicked-smelling pee, they trash the place, and they make high-pitched whining sounds. but they're so prettyyyyy
you can buy fox urine pretty sure- mny use it for just this purpose. (uh, not sure what other purpose there is)

ahhhhh brutal! best i’ve heard is to get fox urine or something similar, I guess

lol rabbits are the most scared creature that honestly aren’t that scared of you. like you tell them to go and then they’re back in six seconds like you never did anything in the first place

no expectation of privacy in public is actually something I care a lot about: it’s how you can film officers, or capture emergencies, etc. it’s about accountability more than anything.

okay?

sure; no expectation of privacy on the street in the states

for sure, but it’d be nice to do both.

true, though amusingly enough the military was very quick to understand climate change and adjust strategy for the new reality. they’re also putting in a ton of resources towards tech like nuclear.

part of why i don’t use bluesky that much is because rebuilding my graph is such a pain. on the other hand, not re-following some problematic people here because i “forgot” this time around has been lovely, too.

i’m honestly somewhat intrigued by bruce’s ability to succeed squaring up against the quakes’ elite inability to succeed. we’ll see who wins out.

his session at the coaches’ convention a couple weeks ago kinda touched on that, that internet life is different from real life. was nice to see a totally packed room giving him the proper respect he deserved.

lol just found out LA's game at Sofi is $107, so whoops I guess I was being charitable with the $70

i think the answer is "no, they do not understand how this all works", lol

yup! they do. that *is* the AO block. that’s still the pricing USSF picks, ugh
comment in response to

100%. i mean lower prices in general is good, but if you have to pick, let the diehards with fewer resources still be able to come. what’s worse is i’m pretty sure they’re not filling this particular game either.

yeah. i get people just bailing on them. like especially if you’re buying more than one it’s insane how quickly it adds up. and then you end up with “well the bay area doesn’t support the yanks when they come to play anyway”
