If I was young and valuable and was offerered a position and could bring my family, I’d think about it for maybe 5 seconds. Of course, I would have said that before now too. My whole family left Canada in the 50’s and I’ve never understood why.

If I was Canada right now, and unfortunately I’m not, I would be recruiting the best and brightest from the US to add to the best and brightest of Canadians. Take our laid off scientists and doctors and researchers… they will add to an already great country.

This comment made me teary. I’m not kidding. We love Canada in WA state. I look at Vancouver Island across the water every day and consider it part of who we are. I am so proud of Canadians for not kneeling to this bs.
