Great work! Thanks for your efforts! I agree with the sign behind you as you speak at the airport - "This is what leadership looks like."

Excellent show last night! You were on fire! Please post your interview with Ryan Holiday - a lot of people could use that right now.

And post those clips here!

Exactly what he's doing, but more like bragging. The 1% - the oligarchs - are benefitting from the sell-off of stocks bought in the past week at steep discounts. These were stocks sold from investments of the 99% - 401K's and the like. Today the oligarchs made huge profits.

I believe Trump is just manipulating the markets to the benefit of the rich investors who've been buying stocks at bargain prices. Meanwhile "average" Americans are paying more at Walmart and beyond.

An obvious question - WHICH countries are (allegedly) calling the White House? "75 countries" is meaningless without that information - just some clever gaslighting. Please report on that!

Yep. This decision is a no brainer. Bring the Garcia back home. Bring ALL of them back to the U.S. and make sure they get their due process. And cancel that arrangement with El Salvador.

ALL of them need to be brought back to the U.S. and afforded due process! No excuses.

It's a good bet that the White House faith advisor will be selling commemorative Easter eggs (fresh from the White House lawn) on her organization's website store. baptistnews.com/article/trum...

The current high cost of original Medicare (generally 20% + deductibles) drives people to the Medicare Advantage plans. Insurance companies (healthcare gatekeepers) get monthly payments from the government for each enrollee, reaping huge profits. We need to take the profit out of healthcare.

Obeying in advance (as discussed by @timothysnyder.bsky.social in his book "On Tyranny"). Thank you for your good work. Keep it up.

Minor edit - should be "The House" voted, not the "The Senate...

We can do both.

Thanks to Anne Linn for sharing her story about USAID. Obviously she is very dedicated to her work of saving lives. We need her back doing her job.

The Dems didn't really pick it. The MAGA propaganda campaign made it an issue with lies and exaggeration to evoke the prejudices of certain groups of people - a tactic used elsewhere. The number of transgender athletes competing in the NCAA is estimated at 40 or less among 500,000 athletes.

No revelation here. Bernie Sanders has been warning us for years.

Great! Lots of people don't know (as suggested by that link from Best Friends in my own reply comment), so I share. Enjoy your new cat!

Continuing my comment... I suggest getting him scanned for a microchip (if you haven't already, though the absence of one proves nothing) and check with neighbors. network.bestfriends.org/proven-strat...

I hope that Raffi is truly a stray, given that you've decided to give him a home. That said, often "stray" cats actually have a home because cats with access to the outdoors tend to visit when they roam. Given that you've seen him for a while I suspect that might be the case here.

Please count me among the folks who really appreciate you. Keep up the good work. Happy New Year!

Not necessarily an advanced degree - more broadly a productive path in life.

I hear nothing anymore about corrections (beyond in titles - correction officer, dept. of corrections, etc) rather than punishment, which really achieves nothing productive. Only vengeance. We need to rethink this.

Rep. Angie Craig seems like a good one. Congratulations to her. And yes indeed. @aoc.bsky.social should be there with her. We need her voice and her proven progressive leadership.
comment in response to post
Thanks for your effort. We need your leadership and the change of direction that you represent. Keep up your good work...from an older voter who wants progressive change.

Count me in that group. We need her leadership.

Watching. Many of the Repub Senators are, in FACT, nothing more than potted plants. Artificial plants, not worthy of a hound dog's hiked leg. And Elon Musk is the Senate (and House) "gardener". What IS his connection to Putin?

Biden should consider blanket pardons for immigrants whose only crime is crossing the border illegally. Begin with the DACA recipients and their families. Pull the rug out from under Trump's deportation plans.

Cool white! It's sparkly and snow-like. And it's pure white and renders the color of objects better - more like what you'd see in natural sunlight. Warm white is simply pure white tinted yellow.
comment in response to post
Agree! Beyond that I'd like to see Biden consider pardoning immigrants whose only "crime" was to cross the border illegally beginning with those folks brought here as children (DACA declarants) and their families. Pull the rug out on Trump's deportation plans.

A question: with all the discussion of Biden pardons, is there any news of possibly pardoning immigrants whose only crime was to cross the border illegally. This would be a way to counter Trump's deportation plans, keep many families together, and preserve the workforce that supports all of us.
