You're not wrong 😞
comment in response to post
Yep. 😞 Clear signal: Not only will this DOJ not crack down on racial injustice, it is actively stopping efforts to hold those doing it accountable

LOL there's no way to win with these people It's as if these constructs are set up to reduce all interaction into unbounded contests of will instead of reasonable ones bounded by understanding that this 'man card' bullshit is stupid and pointless

My above post is probably best enjoyed if you read it to yourself in a pirate accent and replace 'eggs' with 'booty'

Seems like those should be separate an act of aggression or threat of aggression with nukes

They only "care" about the children as a pretext for doing things like discriminating against gay and trans people or pregnant women. ...in other words, they don't genuinely care about them, they just use them to shield bad politics
comment in response to post
Trust me you do not want an additional 3 or 4 percent of the population without their anxiety or depression meds That's just asking for trouble, y'all
comment in response to post
First, we eat the rich. 😉 Then, we divvy up the eggs 😂
comment in response to post
That's a lot of gravity to work with, yikes
comment in response to post
It's just a purge so they can replace experts with lackeys

A modern Molotov-Ribbentropp

TBH I don't think the Dems' problem is that they aren't sufficiently conciliatory to white nationalism, if anything it's that they throw too much liberalism under the bus to appeal to corporate power
comment in response to post
Wow. So, not a public body, yet has public authority That judge sucks
comment in response to post
We're so, so sorry I wouldn't trust the USA either

Translation: Trump is not in charge, and somehow that's worse than if he was
comment in response to post
Fair enough. There's also no end of fuckery available when you try to do statistical analysis of any dirty/gap-ridden dataset, especially if it doesn't all conform to the same data standards and conventions
comment in response to post
Wow, infuriating that anyone will believe any part of his statement. Also, he swore an oath to defend the constitution- and is breaking that oath
comment in response to post
A lot of hallucination probably arises in similar data parsing failures

Doge is not a real government agency and Musk doesn't have the authority to do most of what he's doing. The only reason this is going on is that nobody in control of congress has the spine to check it and court orders have been issued to stop it but DOJ refuses to enforce them ...it's all crime
comment in response to post
That's because when you made the bike lane terrifying to use, it convinces most people not to use it

Faster and farther than this guy, that's how
comment in response to post
it's literally their job

amazing he can be all at once a prick, an ass, and a boob

So I'm wondering: who, apart from lobbyists for businesses that don't want to pay taxes, wants any of this shit?
comment in response to post
It's as if these people aren't as interested in accuracy or truth as much as they are interested in conducting a hostile corporate takeover of the United States
comment in response to post
Yeah we can have civil rights and democracy or billionaires with enough money to spend corrupting democracy but not both
comment in response to post
As they say, the dildo of consequence rarely arrives lubed

who *didn't* see it coming?
comment in response to post
Really? When I hear the term 'professional left' I think of neoliberals, and I wonder in what way they've been anything but ruthless But I'll agree that politically, the democrats (especially the 'centrists') have extended the benefit of the doubt for far too long to bad-faith right wingers
comment in response to post
Being autistic with a special interest in history, I'll never not forget that the Nazis murdered autistic people too Elon can fuck off into the sun
comment in response to post
I think the lesson we might be learning from here forward is that we can have democracy and civil rights or billionaires funding political corruption The problem isn't that there was inclusiveness or that it got too confrontational; it's that nepo babies with too much power are shitty citizens
comment in response to post
Yeah. When I visit my boomer parents and see the news they're watching tell them it's all normal except it's scandalous that liberals object to how DOGE is firing civil servants despite laws against that, that's when I realize the left in this country is decades behind in propaganda effectiveness
comment in response to post
if only there had been warnings of any kind
comment in response to post
It's probably helpful to understand that DOGE is only really about shutting down agencies that regulate musk businesses
comment in response to post
When his prescription for what ails people is enslavement, it's as if he doesn't care one bit about health or human services
comment in response to post
Yeah but the guy lying about saving anything while intentionally crashing the economy and subverting the constitution is certainly violating laws and saving nothing
comment in response to post
For sure not a quid pro quo this time, I'm sure Didn't we impeach him over this sort of thing but back then it was about getting dirt on Biden?
comment in response to post
If we tolerate this sort of thing, it means it can happen to anyone for whatever reason they need to do it. The logical consequence of doing so is that people are afraid to speak truth or be authentic in the face of anyone who doesn't like that and is willing to escalate. IOW, rule by the bullies
comment in response to post
Curious they didn't just call it the Sturmabteilung act but they do seem to love their Orwellian naming conventions that pretend the act is something other than authorizing privateers to go vigilante
comment in response to post
Yeah it might be more efficient to just light the money and personnel on fire right now at this point
comment in response to post
I mean okay it's funny but
