thank you! Jeju was much more relaxed and I had a lot time in there which allowed me to slow down a bit in comparison to my Japan days...

old vintage lenses aren't as heavy nor massive as you think, if anything an Olympus 12-50mm ED zoom lens is only thinner by a small fraction of your standard 50mm from the 35mm film camera era.

I think you misunderstood something. I'm not switching to MFT where I dump my FF camera. This is an additional camera for the days where a FF camera and it's weight is not necessary. (APS-C still requires a speedbooster/focal reducer for 35mm lenses)

There are times where you use the specialised weather sealed lenses and there are times where you don’t. Utilising a speedbooster with adapted lenses provides you with an increased maximum aperture by one stop and reduces the crop factor. Older lenses provide a much more pleasant bokeh as well

My FF camera would most likely always remain with me for negative scans and low light photography, but when it comes to traveling to another country it's far too much to drag around with you (size and weight). Once I buy OM-3 it will most likely be kitted with a speedbooster and old Olympus lenses

All I can say is that limitation sparks creativity. Camera is a tool, like a paintbrush. What you capture is the end result filled with emotions and thoughts. Unless you're pixel peeping and looking at every single noise on the image.

I think people who love to compare and moan about sensor formats are the ones who only collect gear to look at it rather than bother taking meaningful photographs. These days there are slim differences between FF & APS-C And MFT apart from low light (which OM-3 seems to handle okay’ish)

The price is bound to drop at some point, body itself costs around £1699 here in the UK which I feel like is justifiable for some parts it comes with. OM-3 as a MFT is a very capable camera from what I’ve been seeing and I’ve been thinking of getting something lighter for my travels.

burnt the calories only to take them back in

Yeah, you're right about it. I think I simply made too many expectations for myself and forgot to just enjoy myself.

That is a tomorrow’s Hozu problem. I just finished my ramyun which means it’s time to hider under the covers.

Coma for sure. Only now got back… but it also means unpacking

Couldn’t sleep on the plane and I’m still on the way back home (on the train now)
comment in response to post
I haven’t slept for 14h so I’m at the stage of not wanting to do a single thing but get home, eat something quickly and sleep. I think that is a valid excuse, right?

You offering your cooking services? No? Ramyun it is!

And so now I am confused!

Do you mean on the hat itself?

Look up for Trainspotters (1996) and that shall give context! (It’s also my hat btw)

Make it a black cat and I would say yes. If I’m a black cat I deserve to be pampered

How could you say no to this rabbit tho?

Sorry, I’m not living with you until you’re a millionaire and can do “Ara~ Ara~” properly.

Yeah for once something went right in Japan. It was really cheap as well… Two lenses for £50 if converting it to my currency… Try getting that back home at such price.
