Maybe that’s exactly what I will push myself to do.

Frankly speaking MFT lenses are so cheap it's almost too contagious not to be GAS'd.

Speedbooster would be useful for you. If anything you could get a Canon 35mm f1.4 or Nikon 35mm of sort and get 50mm full frame equivalent with great aperture, but I understand that. Living in London requires me to really get something proper weather sealed and there's really nothing good as MFT

Now that you mention it... I do lack the 30/35mm equivalent focal length so I might have to add that one to the list as well.

A fully weather sealed EDC Lumix GX8 + Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm F1.4 Mark II + Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm & Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-35mm f/2.8 and a Voigtlander Super Nokton 29mm f/0.8 for non rainy days. This paired with Lumix S9 for dry days alongside my Mamiyas

That 61MP sensor is truly showcasing some beautiful qualities of the FP-L!

Ahh that area! God, when I was there it was almost impossible to walk without accidentally bumping into people. (night time) Great shot!

Justified and warranted. Should’ve not rot on the sofa all day!

You asked “healthier than coffee” didn’t you?
comment in response to post
Matter of fact I did. A delicious home made spicy mac and cheese.

Plenty to say, too little energy to have a political debate. Excuse me for being bashed for enjoying a cup of coffee every day while someone here eats cereal for dinner and not healthy meal. h y p o c r i s y

well, they're also cheaper so it makes sense really (the 1.7 and 1.8) in comparison to f1.4 Pana Leica. But won't lie... f1.2 Oly would be nice for the extra light. But looking at MPB ... Getting a lens for £50 or £100 is absolutely insane for any M43 lens and I might as well have too many soon

I feel like most people are fixated on OM lenses and understandably why. There's also a big divide between using OM & Pana lenses on different bodies e.g. Pana lens on OM and vice versa because people seem to say that weather sealing doesn't work the same due to inconsistencies in gasket and spacing

I will have to take a look! I was eyeing Bellini as they sell bleach and fixer separately, maybe they have something.

Hmm.. I see. That’s one thing I always find difficult here. My Rodinal might very well outlive me and still work but even by getting rid of oxygen as much as you can in C41 chems I would probably never manage to shoot colour to justify C41 dev like I shoot b&w. Thanks for the info!

Yeah the manual clutch above is useful, but this thing… This thing is fucking annoying. I wish they at least made it that you have to press a button to switch like you have to press “Macro” button to switch to Macro on this lens but the ‘foreskin’ is the bane of my existence. Manual zoom here is ASS
comment in response to post
How long do your chems live for? (Shelf life) with C41? From what I remember you don’t really shoot C41 that often right? That’s one thing that keeps me off from C41 dev - short life span of chems meaning you better bulk dev as many as you can?

Apparently it isn’t on all GX8s and certain line from the production so best I could do is buy one, test and send back if it does and buy another one. Rinse and repeat lol But you’re right, it won’t be that bad anyway
comment in response to post
Hopefully. Read that shutter shock on GX8 can be a bitch with mechanical shutter on lower shutter speed so it has a special feature to auto change to electronic shutter to prevent it… But that’s if you use low shutter speeds, doubt I will go that low, if anything maybe it won’t be even visible.

Will prob buying in 2 months, no rush with it. I have this G80 with me for a bit before my brother starts to ask for it to be returned.
comment in response to post
Lmao yeah I’ve actually joked about this on his live stream recently. That guy just sprays the shit out of his cameras and lenses and he said they still live to this day. Tomorrow I will take the Lumix G80 and the Zoom out (not my camera nor lens) and mess with it and make a final decision for sure

Ah yeah don’t mind me. Got it mixed up with the 35-100mm f2.8 And yep, Pentax! Ofc. You might very well run them under your tap and they won’t give a shit.
comment in response to post
Is that the one with f2.8 constant aperture? I think I saw one. Yeah, the weather sealing part to me is starting to become a big matter now and I never really looked into it that deep... MFT is probably hands down the best in terms of IBIS & WS and no other format can beat it.
comment in response to post
Yeah I agree with you on the lenses... Price wise and quality wise. The 12-50mm Olympus zoom lens I have from 2016 is trashing my APS-C prime lens. The other reason why I'm starting to look at MFT is weather sealing. I was stuck in rain yesterday under a tree which annoyed me... I could've continue
comment in response to post
I'm debating it heavily. Been looking at lenses here and there and bodies and they do seem very very interesting. Ability to match 8 stops of IBIS + lens OIS on Lumix... Is quite amazing

Yeah luckily I was 5min away from home so went back. I’m most likely just going to always drop a spare SD card in my camera bag for these sort of scenarios
