We have done Costco online ordering. Limited products, but works for what they have. Also this: Plus here for good alternatives in general www.rollingstone.com/product-reco...

Yep - here in rural Oregon too. Closest big box (except WalMart) is a 30 min drive one way. More choice is 1.5 hr drive. We shop local whenever we can but if its an oddball item, you won't find it.

If ordering from another vendor & it drop ships from Amazon/WalMart, give that vendor a poor review. Note that, if you wanted to buy it from Amazon/Walmart, you would buy it directly.

We are using Bookshop.org now for ebooks. The profit goes to a local bookstore that you can select. Very happy. The don't have everything that Amazon does, but there have only been a couple that they didn't (and we read a lot).

I use Amazon as a review lookup. Want to compare and get the most highly rated product(s)? Look at Amazon & sort by average review. Then go buy it elsewhere. Does not always work. Some stuff is only on Amazon. But it definitely works well for the most part.

We had a good sized protest for our little town. Very proud of the courage and conviction.

Come to our house. All us cats sneak into that closet. OK; sneak is a bit too subtle. Any time the cupboard opens, we run inside and travel to the very back so no one can catch us. Then we curl up among the t-shirts. Plenty of room for more. All tuxedos here, so we can use some orange fluff here.
