Saw this in the theater in 1984 when I was doing work in the southwest. I've never been quite the same.

Wow LL. That's a statement. I kind of stopped digging below the surface of EJ after Captain Fantastic. Will have to check it out.

And now, as a public service to those of our viewers who have difficulty with their hearing... OUR TOP STORY TONIGHT...

Yeah man, the Crazy On You intro & transition to banging those Am/F chords while Roger Fisher's lines open up... one of my favorites.

Can't believe I voted for that jackoff. Mr. "Man of the People" that resurrected Braddock, PA. F Fetterman.

Oh yeah, my friends and I loved that album! It's like I'm looking down from above my fourteen year old self lying on the floor watching Don Kirshner's Rock Concert on our brand new 19" color TV as I desperately tried to stay awake until they went on.

This one cost me many, many quarters at a time when they were very precious to me.

This was Chris Long with Malcolm Jenkins in 2017 in a protest moment. Jeffrey Lurie created that culture in the Eagles organization, and, even though one can question the importance of pro sports at times like this, it does me a lot of good to see my team doing the right thing.

Oh God yeah. Another band that defined the '80's. Morrissey & Johnny Marr. I'll never get the guitar intros to How Soon is Now and What Difference Does It Make out of my head. And both titles are questions. Go figure.

So easy for McConnell to vote his conscience now, knowing that it won't matter.

I don't know... I think once we demolished the KC offensive line we kind of had it out of our systems.

Aww c'mon Les. The Eagles gave them the underneath stuff the whole game. Just about zero yards after (oh, yeah the six inch vertical leap hurdle notwithstanding), and of course, the requisite drop. And like when he played for us, he blocked just about nobody.

It's not about easy. It's about glory. As much as we like the Bills compared to the Chiefs, the glory will be in beating the Chiefs (and that weasel QB of theirs) in the big game.

Cute. I'm paying $35.96 a month purely to subsidize the Philadelphia Inquirer. I don't need it. I can get my news pretty much for free elsewhere today. My $35.96 a month is a gift. One more article normalizing Trump and his MAGA followers and I'm out. Get your money from them.

Elvis. First saw him on the Armed Forces tour at the Tower in Philadelphia. (Remember sleeping out for tickets?) I think he shoved his whole catalog into 80 minutes of blistering staccato without stopping to breathe between songs.

Born in Pittsburgh; been in Philadelphia most of my life. Still have a soft spot for the Pirates and Steelers, but all Philly for me. Love the Phillies, and above all else, the Eagles. Go Birds!
