If so Farke loses all my respect. It’s all about egos. He’s lost the plot :-)

Jesus, Mary and Joseph? Could be his day? (Sorry, best I’ve got and I hate Sunday early fixtures)… who do you see in nets ??

Such a physical league I almost want to see Guilevogui have a go to just come on and throw his great bulk around. Bully the oppo for once. It’s where BA comes up really short. That and shanking into the crowd. We don’t know how skilful JG is and I’d like a proper look, he looks very skilful?!

Rodon, whom I admire, really specialises in the ‘rush of blood’ needless foul from nowhere. What’s he thinking?! Bamford ditto with his little push in back snidy pushes that he always contests wildly. Almost as maddening as our abject corners! Rothwell the latest to try and fail in the epic task!

We come back to the fact we all knew we needed a 9 signed on last Summer, but that want goes way back. The profile was: clinical, proven, experienced (old lag) finisher yet instead we got very young muy promising junior. A reminder the same shoestring HS got us relegated from PL last season.

Beyond frustrating — let’s face it we’ve had since 13 April to figure out how to score v Real Blackburn. Gnonto is my favourite player as he has the most potential to score goals from edge box — we don’t make the most of him. That said his miss was a terrible one. We score they have to come out.

We became a rabble with the subs is the sad truth. Sentimental links to players not helping. We never ever get on the end of a corner or a cross. Piroe rises to bid home? Never! Gnonto missed a total sitter, gifted by their keeper. That’s why we lost. We can’t cross, shoot or finish.

As you say, pedestrian — we badly need to play with tempo and get in decent crosses, ones that comms can’t call ‘low’! They’re in fact topped or scuffed and hit with no conviction into the morass. James memorably. We just throw players on and take off our most likely scorers.

Yes that’s where we are I think. Humour the only recourse after such a craven showing. I’m bemused. It’s always precisely when you finally let yourself believe in them that they defecate on your dreams.

Begs the question: finisher of what? Answers on a postcard. Is the girlfriend allusion a sports reference?

Please explain Piroe’s role?! Or the idea? He’s hardly making chances by roaming like Simon of the Desert edge box. Then any ball in box never has anyone on end of it? Somehow. And when did he last win a header from a set piece or make a tackle? Otherwise 10/10. :-)

Looks so uncertain, invariably wavers when we should be in! Mind you who crosses purposefully/accurately today? But yes, I’ve had enough Brenden.

Presenters referenced really great past players like Kewell, Viduka, Dacourt, Bowyer. They spoke very respectfully of LUFC which surprised me. Of course Bielsa helped the image! JG didn’t mention crowds, fans, his reception. Feels blessed to get this chance at 34 when lots good players unemployed!

Listened. Sadly no mention of local cuisine specialities. He alluded to the enormous staff (up to 60 on match days!) and professionalism at the club. Said like NBA. They open the chat by referring to mythic Leeds and our historic stadium and achievements. He’s delighted and said yes straightaway
