This week, for the 1st time in my life, I went to my parents and asked them to tell me about their political views, which were as bad as I expected. But they seemed to appreciate me being willing to listen and open to me sharing info. I'm their best chance at being exposed to truth at this point.

Honestly, I think crossing the line to the other side to listen is vital. Half the reason they all love Trump is because they feel unheard and they think he listens. (I think that they are mistaken...but they haven't figured that out yet.)

I think he absolutely SHOULD be going on things like Charlie Kirk's podcast. What he SHOULDN'T be doing is going on and trying to pander to Kirk's audience. Or maybe this is actually what he believes in which case, he has shown us his colors and we should abandon him.

I don't know about her being selfish and egotistical as I don't know enough about her motivations. But I do, absolutely agree that she should have retired strategically to avoid the mess we are in now. I have thought of that many times.

I'm going to tell you since no one else is. OP's post begins with "aloha" & then they say if you're having a breakdown over Tiktok, signal to people by posting, beginning & ending a post with the same word. They ended with "aloha". They are commiserating, not mocking people. Hope this helps.
