There's just no world in the modern game in which he stayed with us after we didn't get promoted unfortunately. Money, career, family pushing him and it suited the club PSR wise. I was hoping for at least another season of him at Leeds but didn't expect Spurs to come in with that kind of money

He was asked about it by @berencross.bsky.social in the interview he did - I think he said he didn't want to comment on the chant but he appreciates the support of the fans. Could defo have been more condemning of it, maybe didn't want to be seen to be clashing with the "fans" or something
