Yes. We have a hole at WR. Again. It all comes down to whether or not you think this team is/was going anywhere relevant this season. I personally don’t, so I’m in favor of getting the most value for assets that aren’t in thr team’s future plans. obviously GP was not.

I agree that would’ve been ideal. But his contract is up, he’s a malcontent and everyone knows it, and with no plans to extend him, he only would’ve netted at best a 3rd rd comp pick in ‘27. I’m not a fan of Tomlin/Kahn, but at least this one is forward thinking.

Per her reporting, they’ve been talking since prior to the draft. Since the final trade is a 3rd, I suspect the trade offer prior to the draft was less than that. So, PIT waited them out and got a better pick. It would’ve been nice to know before the draft so a new WR could be acquired, though.

Completely agree about the team botching the post-late-era Ben QB strategy (They wouldn’t be the first team to struggle in that way). I’m not a fan of the Rodgers move, but it’s temporary. Sanders doesn’t fit their scheme at all and doesn’t have the arm strength to optimize their WR core.

You mean the QBs they acquired and drafted this offseason (including Sanders and Gabriel and Pickett) won’t make them better than Rudolph/Rodgers? That’s a defense of PIT’s strategy of not drafting these guys.

PIT isn’t the only team that needs a QB or who could allocate resources to him. Every team in the NFL, literally every one, is saying his value is not worth it. There are teams that do a very good job of drafting guys that fall and their value is too good to pass up. Even those teams are passing.

Yes, but also not surprising. Hardly any major non-family releases have been released that were expected to be hits (maybe Mickey 17?). Let’s see what M:I brings next month. Sinners may do very well too given the buzz. The big adult movie I’m eyeing is 28 Years Later. That’s going to be huge.
