You’re using the correct terminology.

I had a similar experience in the cold last weekend. How is the Summaron? I’ve always wanted to try one.

I feel like this has already happened and it's great :)

Yeah. I have had a self imposed restriction for a couple of years and think that it’s taking off this year as a bit of a trend.

I just know I need to not think about it for fear of going down the rabbit hole. I have 2 great bags, excellent, job done. I can get back to shooting and looking at photos now :)

I also have one of these which I cannot fault but do not love. But that’s just because it’s basically perfect and boring. It was £14 on ebay and has served me well for years.

I have the 6L and it’s brilliant. Well made, stores a body and a couple of lenses, some filters and AirPods all fine. Has a slot at the back which is good for tablets or notebooks. I’m a big fan and would happily recommend it.

With socials and the podcast I make I refuse to look at the stats. I’m pursuing value based creativity. I make things because I want them to exist. Doesn’t mean I’d sometimes like to know but I think it’s the right way to think about making.

My pleasure! The only thing better than buying a camera is talking to someone else about buying a camera :) My one camera rule for myself does stop me from going too far down the road of buying another one even if I think I'd love to use it. I also travel a lot for work. Film + airports = pain :)

Yeah, I mean you have an excellent rangefinder already and make beautiful images on film. The cost of a digital body will buy a lot of Portra 400 :) If you have tools you love then stick with 'em. Up to a point, those bodies are only coming down in price.

Folks I know with 240s really like them :)

I would still mostly shoot the 11. I am a digital shooter in my heart. I don’t like waiting, it’s why my film love is instant film. I like to iterate quickly and try things. An M5 would be a trophy. Something I get out occasionally. A nod to heritage. The recent M digitals are excellent.

I’m with you, it’s unloved but beautiful. Maybe one day I’ll get one. I already have the lenses.

Ha! Thanks. They didn’t come out quite how I wanted TBH as it was so cold but the I-2 is an excellent modern camera for Polaroid film. A bit like the Pentax 17. Modern film cameras FTW
