A couple of weeks ago I decided to spend much less time on social media. The worlds still going to shite, nothing I type on SM will make a blind bit of difference, so why read and type about it 24/7 Walking in the woods is far better for the soul than endless doom scrolling

If you've never had the pleasure of listening to a good Storyteller you are missing out, and to listen to one at Butser Ancient Farm makes it even better #PaganSky www.facebook.com/events/13393...

“Hello? Is that the Irony Police? I’d like to report a crime…”

Guizer Jarl Calum Grains leads the Jarl Squad through Lerwick in Shetland during the Up Helly Aa festival! 🔥

One week into the worst case of flu I've had in my life and just starting to come out the other end. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, well...maybe 😆

PLEASE read this really important message about The Folklore Library and Archive and if you can help follow this link www.gofundme.com/f/keep-the-f... Even if you can't help directly, please forward this message on to everyone you can. These archives are valuable. Thank you.

Something lovely for the weekend! Ancient Egyptian gold headband decorated with heads of gazelles and a stag between stars or flowers. Second Intermediate period, Dynasty 15, c. 1648–1540 BC. 📷 The Met www.metmuseum.org/art/collecti... #Archaeology

I'm nudging 60 and have had a serious dose of flu this week, throwing up, fevers, the lot, yet when I phone up work to tell them I won't be in I still feel like a naughty schoolboy skiving off school 🤣

When I first became interested in the occult in the mid 80's I would buy anything musically occult related. This often resulted in some terrible album choices but this one I remember was superb, the first album by British heavy metal band Cloven Hoof #WitchSky

It’s at times like these, not just the shitshow in the US but all over the world, Sudan, Middle East etc, that makes me wonder about the nature of what we describe as ‘Gods’. If they do exist they don’t appear to care, so why do we continue to worship or celebrate them? #PaganSky #WitchSky

Well I haven't seen colour like this for a long time. Taken about 30 minutes before sunrise this morning in Glastonbury. A little bit of excitedly running up and down the lane happened this morning 😂❤️

The personnel of fairyland; a short account of the fairy people of Great Britain for those who tell stories to children, Katharine Mary Briggs, 1971.

Will be an interesting read for anyone interested in paganism and its history. #PaganSky

Alex Sanders/Alexandrian Witchcraft was what I first learned of due to the Farrars who (in 8 Sabbats I think) called themselves Alexandrian. Politely described as an 'interesting character', plenty of less polite words were used too. The people are as facinating as the subject #WitchSky
