Fun fact: You once had 9 followers. You've proven to be incapable of anything but insults.

What have I said that would suggest that I support remigration, or any of Miller's views? You seem antagonistic towards me even though you have no idea what my views are on the topic. I wish you well, but we are done here.

Playing devil's advocate means that someone is attempting to make the argument of the other side. I haven't supported any of Miller's claims in this discussion. I'm just asking for better, more rational arguments in opposition of Miller's views.

Just because you made a poor argument (strawman) doesn't mean that you are wrong. I'm asking you to attempt to make better arguments instead of relying on strawman arguments and insults. Using strawman & insults makes it looks like you are "wrong", even if you aren't.

Are you suggesting that queerness always manifests in exactly the same way? Queer people have agency to decide for themselves how to live as a queer person. Are you suggesting that they don't have that agency?

If someone changes from lesbian to bi-sexual and the to non-binary, were they born to hold all 3 of those views? There is a very wide range of what queerness looks like, and people who were born gay are free to make decisions about what type of gay lifestyle they want to live.

If what you are saying is true, then there would be no difference between queerness and hair color in predicting a wide range of ideological views. But what the data shows is that queerness is predictive, whereas hair color is not. Asking people to focus on truth isn't trolling.

Accusing someone of being a bot does not result in that person having more respect for you. If you have a point, then make that point. If you have nothing but insults, it causes people to believe there are no arguments on your side of an argument, which is not the case.

This conservation has me wondering if you know what a bot is. It seems you use bot as an insult. If I am a bot, I wouldn't be offended by your insult. If I am not a bot, I wouldn't be offended by your ignorance. I am hear to learn about people who can't defend their own views.

Does Miller endorse the forcible removal of non-ethnically European immigrants, or is that a strawman argument intended to vilify as opposed helping readers to better understand reality? How would Miller himself describe his views on this topic?

I agree. And I agree that any parent who cuts of their child simply for being gay isn't committing to the role of what parenting actually is. But, back to the original post, one wonders how many kids cut ties with parents for nothing more than holding views that differ from their own.

Jesus didn't judge the rich. He warned people of the dangers of wealth, especially the temptation of making it an idol. He gave this warning because Jesus loved even the rich and wanted to protect them from the shallow life of seeking wealth.

The Pope should be given his due respect. But, what do Catholics think about the politicization of the church? Jesus made no attempts to influence governments, even refusing to influence the decision of crucifying him.

Are you referring to me? I literally created my account today. Have I said something offensive?

True. What I am suggesting is that the parents in this scenario might not be rejecting the child for being gay, but for decisions on how to live as a gay person. If parents learn of behavior that might put their child's safety at risk, it's not bigoted to voice concern.

"Queer" can be a lot of different things. People can be born gay, but that doesn't mean they don't make choices about how to live as a gay man or lesbian. There is a huge range in what "queer" looks like, and I'd argue that gay people have free will to choose many aspects of their identity.

Thank you. Yes, I've read that book. Any worldview that is informed primarily by resentments leads to poor life outcomes. Do you think harbouring racial resentment causes more harm to White Americans or Black americans?

Is anyone else disappointed to find out that Oscar voters choose awards for reasons other than the quality of the movie or performance? If a voter doesn't watch a film, what criteria are they using to cast their vote?

Makes you wonder how many of our views are more influenced by fear of public shaming as opposed to forming opinions based on sincere reflection on moral principles. Public shaming has its benefits, although one wonders if overuse of racism claims has numbed some to that form of public shaming.

If going no-contact is acceptable when family members do not share one's worldview, then wouldn't cutting off queer or neurodivergent children be consistent with that view? How should people decide which differences can be tolerated?

Polling shows that the vast majority of white americans do not view their race as superior. Is it your belief that most are lying in polling and harbor white supremacist views in private?

What do Catholics think about this? Should the church embrace the social issues that secular society embraces? How should the church decide which social issues to promote?

Why do you compare mask wearing to immigration views? What is the similarity that makes these comparable?
