What the subsidy does, though, is show the sham of private ownership of water. If nationally run we would all spread the cost of managing our national coastline equally, not have to rely on the government protecting a particular region from punitive bills. Frankly ridiculous situation.

This isn’t some secret gotcha, it’s appeared on our bills for years. It isn’t a subsidy to SWW, it’s a payment from the government to customers because SWW customers have much higher bills due to the incredibly large coastline. While you can debate the cost, this is appallingly bad journalism.

Saw you present this film in Plymouth on monkey cage tour. Was loud as you had promised and the bit I remember most.

Improved from Tuesday. The same as the last month; solid, look defensively comfortable but struggling to create much. Scoring first vital for us at the moment. We have good building blocks though, so I’m keeping the faith we can improve going forward.

A game which I went to, getting back at something like 5am, going to work at 8am and then being sent home by my boss at 12pm for using the desk as a pillow.

Generally agree. Also confirms that, as a leader, he believes in his assembled cabinet to deliver their agreed aims. PMs, or any leader, constantly getting into their staffs business always makes me nervous. Especially when I’m at work.
