It was deeply disconcerting when I found out that Steve Bannon agrees with me and professor Norm Matloff (UC Davis) that the entire H-1B visa program is just a scheme that the big U.S. tech companies (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, etc.) use to displace and/or undercut the wages of U.S. tech workers.

I also have one of those Eco Drive watches.
I got it maybe about 15+ years ago. Before then I had to pay a jeweler ten or fifteen bucks every 6 months just to put a new battery in my old watch. Since then, $0.
I prefer both friends & watches that are low maintenance. 😬
