…and all 77+M who voted for him are either evil or plainly stupid, neither being quite a good choice

I am unable to understand how 77M fools voted a candidate back into office who supported this. Yes, in my eyes every single one is a fool.

Nothing to celebrate when the convicted felon is spared from jail and fines. When the radical right destroys the little what‘s left from “justice“, a gutless US-AG 🤢 and this gutless judge 🤮 will bear responsibility, too

“Justice” is a title they don’t deserve. To me, they are just judges - some of them corrupt - of the highest court of the nation.

I, too, think that Garland failed in his job. The test for citizenship I took had the famous phrase he has made a hollow one: that no one is above the law. I’m still not going to throw insults at him, I’ll leave that part to others lol

This is what right wing fools would say (if it wasn’t a musky product): “See, I told you so. This car is dangerous. It exploded, it isn’t safe. Now they’ll say it was caused by fireworks in the pick-up bed” 😆

No. No. And no. Have you? And what’s your conclusion? Do you believe all Russians favor the war? - That’s like saying that all Americans stand behind the president elect. Doubtful 🤨

I have been bypassing US mainstream media for years now. I do consult European media from 4 different countries: Germany, Spain, Switzerland and UK, and independent US media. Progressive and conservative. CNN, MSNBC, Fox and alike: no, thanks, I’m good

Tariffs are import taxes. Consumer pay for it, unless a substitute is chosen. It can penalize exporters, too, if the demand drops or by a lower profit margin if exporters absorbe the tariffs partially or fully. It’s almost guaranteed that that tariffs will increase inflation! Beautiful word, huh?

While preparing the citizenship test, I ran into this sentence again and again. While steadying political science I learned about the principles of a “Defensive Democracy”. It is disheartening to wake up to a reality where our republic is failing on both of these principles.
